Palmer at Geneva National Golf Club

About
The Palmer Course is just one of three championship courses at Geneva National Golf Club. The other two boast well known designers as well: Gary Player and Lee Trevino. All of the courses were carved from the lush countryside along the banks of Lake Como, the sprawling club is the second largest golf facility in Wisconsin. The Palmer Course is the most challenging of the three but the Player Course comes in at a close second. There is less water one this course but it still has a prominent presence throughout. The golf course begins with a tricky water hole, a par 3 that is crossed two by a meandering stream. The 17th is also memorable since it plays right along the lake. There are a few homes lining some of the fairways but they do not distract from the stunning scenery throughout the golf course.

Terrible and I love this course
When I arrived bag check lost my bag for 20 minutes not allowing me to warm up! That’s the first strike
2nd strike no warning of cart path only until the 1st tee. I would’ve rescheduled as I have a bad knee
3 rd strike was course conditions the greens were so fuzzy it was like play a $29 muni course
All in all completely disappointed in them and it hurts because the Palmer course is the crown jewel on the property
Not in the shape the price would dictate
Greens were extremely slow and furry. Like a 7 on the scale when they are typically 10-12.
Love the course but will stay away unless they fix the freens
Course conditions
Course was in great shape ! Enjoyed playing will look forward to playing your other two courses . Thank you
Great course
I played the Palmer course for the first time and the layout was nice and the holes were challenging. What really made it hard, and I’m not using this against Geneva national, is there was had a huge rainstorm that dumped an inch and a half in 30 minutes making it cart path only. This made it much harder to navigate not knowing the course. Pin placement was very tough but was very enjoyable. I got a good deal on golf now for $65 which I think is a very reasonable price.
Great condition
Course was in great condition, greens were soft, the layout has some challenges but playable, beautiful scenic holes. Too bad we played on the weekend that had some rain and storm so couldn’t really finish the round.
LOVE IT
From Milwaukee to here about an hour, we’ll worth the drive in terms of quality of golf received to reward the effort. Nothing local compares when it comes to the Palmer, beauty and elegance in the final stretch of the back 9 along Lake Como, could not recommend enough.
Wow, Geneva National Palmer
The Palmer is a beautiful course. It is challenging but not impossible. The fairways that run along Lake Como are so picturesque, you just want to stop snd stare. We had fun seeing a plethora of wild turkeys and sand hill cranes. This is just a great golf course and the price thru Golf Now made it even more special! Thanks to the folks working at Geneva National for handling our bags. No confusion and a great time was had by all!
Great course, sub-par pace of play
Course and amenities were fantastic! Pace of play was lacking due to a local who was drunk and more interested in the drink cart girl than playing golf. Foursome in front of them was super slow as well and apparently the course martial took the afternoon off. Drink cart girl stopped 5 or 6 times at the group in front of us so we constantly had to wait.....she even hit tee shots twice with the group bc the old dude was trying to flirt with her.
