Golfer Reviews
Mt Vintage
Was really wide open for a Thursday round. A little bummed that they are using buckets for range balls now as opposed to the pyramid shaped stacks that they used to have. Course Is in great shape if you can stand it being hot outside.
Paid to play 18--left after 9
This course has three beautiful nine hole courses available but only seems to use two. We were stuck behind two very slow foursomes with other groups bearing down on us! The front nine holes were so bad, we packed up and left instead of suffering through another nine holes. The golf cart GPS continued to remind us we were playing too slow and ticked away how many minutes behind we were--as if we were not living through the experience! There should me at least one course marshal monitoring the pace of play, yet there was none. On really busy days, why not open up the third nine to speed up play? Why even have three nine hole courses if they cannot be taken advantage of as needed? This is not the first time we have experienced this frustration here. The course is great and the staff is friendly. Days like we had sure can ruin all of that good will.
Course in good condition. Not my favorite layout.
On one hole on Chester, I hit a shot straight down the middle but because of the extreme right to left slope of the fairway, my ball ended up in some deep thick rough on the left. Goofy golf.
Staff was all very friendly but nobody told us which nines to play and in what order.
Great Experience Out and In
Absolutely loved Mount Vintage. The course was extremely well maintained and has a true country club feel, which is impressive for a semi-private course. The facilities are excellent, with nice locker rooms and dining areas, and the staff and service were fantastic throughout the day.
I especially love the three separate nine-hole courses. Being able to play different combinations makes each visit feel a little different instead of always playing the same 18 in the same order.
Great course, great facilities, good food, reasonably priced drinks, and excellent service. One of the best overall golf experiences I’ve had in the CSRA. I’ll definitely be back!
Great conditions despite rains
Great weather and course preparation; cart path only for most but still great conditions
Great course but
The course is one of my favorites however the bunkers are gravel traps not sand traps. Unless you want to replace your back and wedges I’d advise not hitting out of them
So good
Usually quiet and peaceful. Some occasional slow pace but not usual. Course conditions always very good
Awesome course
This course is very challenging. I played the Chester/Vintage combination and while the Chester greens were a little more predictable they were both very good. Definitely learned a lot about where you need to place your ball for my next round
Consistent and good weekday value
Course conditions good for the most part. Very good value if you catch a hot deal during the afternoon on a weekday. Greens and fairways in good shape. Customer service has improved greatly here since last year. Thanks!
Great Experience
From the bag drop to the post round drinks, this place is amazing!
Course conditions were in top shape.
Staff was super friendly and personable.
Food and drinks hit the spot!
This was my first visit but definitely not my last!

Great course. Very nice practice areas
Most holes were very picturesque
Very beautiful and challenging course
Mount Vintage review
Phenomenal 27 hole course with open fairways, rolling hills, beautiful landscaping, and challenging greens. A great course that I will play again in the future.
The only concern was some of the cart paths needed repair due to large tree roots but it didn’t take away from the immaculate fairways and greens.
