Great Greens

Greens were in excellent condition and the course was just as challenging as I had remembered with many risk/reward shots off the tee.

Mt. Vintage is a DEAL.

Probably the best course that's in the $50 range. Independence 9 is one of my favorites. Plenty of hills and a ton of trouble at this course. Ton of Fun.

Best Course you can play in the CSRA!!!

The golf course is beautiful with scenic holes throughout. That new superintendent has really put his work in to bring Mount Vintage back to the way it was designed. Greens were fast, and smooth! And the food at the grill was soooo good.

Beautiful Challenging Fair Golf Course in Great Condition

For a course that has seen it all, Back in the early 2000’s this beautiful course held the highest paying LPGA tour Event. The course was a Gem back in those days. To see it then in Preston’s shape to the darker days for a 7-8 year period, it was hard to watch. Now though, David and The Superintendent James have done a phenomenal job of getting the course back to being one of the best in the CSRA. With 5 top 100 courses in the US in the area,Mount Vintage is a great Semi Private course that won’t disappoint! Other courses in the area are charging way more Masters Week for a lot less quality. If you in for a true Championship test with great course conditions, Mt. Vintage is an excellent choice that won’t disappoint. 3 Nines to choose from, all are excellent!

Great course and green fees were very reasonable even during Masters week. Only complaint was the very high charge for rental clubs —and these were 6-7 year old rental clubs.

Great Maters Week Venue

The gentleman who greeted us at the car was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Check-in was easy, and the starter was also pleasant. Course was in great shape. Place of play was wonderful. Overall, a great experience.

Nice time during Masters Werk

Course was is fair condition. Some greens had areas that are currently being patched up and many fairways turf is thin at best. The bunkers are in great shape and they have a very nice range and putting green area for practice. The price was fair and if you haven't been to this course I'd recommend coming here to play but only on discounted rates. This course is no where near the shape of a course that costs 100 or more.
