Great Course
A bit of a drive from me - but worth every penny. Could use a course ranger for some slower groups though, but overall a great course.
Great course in the heart of Edgefield
PineRidge is a great course and is always fun to play. As a beginner golfer, it has become my go-to course. Out of the 5 CSRA courses in the $40 range tha I’ve played, PineRidge ranks #1. Kurt is top knotch and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pro shop is well stocked and has comparable prices to big box stores. The facility is clean and the food and drinks are great. The layout of the course was very well thought out. The clubhouse, carts, practice range/green, and first tee are all close, which makes getting on the course, a breeze. The course has its challenges, but is forgiving enough for a beginner like me. The course is always very well manicured from the tees to the greens. Many of the holes are breathtaking and help you appreciate the beauty of the rolling hills throughout this county’s landscape. They have met recent challenges with heavy rainfall, but have quickly recovered. The greens were recently aerated and are in the best shape I’ve seen them in recent months. This course is so good, it’s on the radar for a potential membership for me. I highly recommend trying this course out, if you haven’t yet.
Mid morning tee time
The weather is still very hot but we survived a nice round of golf. The clubhouse has refreshing water for you just outside the pro shop. The greens are getting better every week. This is our third week in a row playing here. If you get a chance the restaurant bar area has fantastic food.
Best kept secret
This is the best kept secret in the Augusta area. Challenging course with excellent greens and fairways.
Great layout but greens were aerated recently.
I enjoyed my round even though the greens were rough, recently aerated. Play was slower than normal and I have never seen a ranger out on the course, so something they may consider adding.
An hour from the house, but worth every penny!
Third time we played and thus the review.
Greens are really good, no bare spots or disease. Lots of smooth carpet like rolls. And it always looks like the golfers that play here respect the sport and repair all divots and ball marks!
Fairways are plush and irrigated, I can get under the ball nicely on wedge shots and the stay on the greens.
Tee boxes are also good.
The layout is not super difficult and if you can keep it in the middle, you can score. Pin placements on a couple holes were fun!
Curt is very nice and always leaves us wanting to make the drive again to play a course where we feel welcome.
Great Public Course
Found this course while I was in the area. A was pleasantly surprised with the conditions. It's fairly well maintained and the greens were in great shape. Layout was challenging but fair. My try to play again if I'm in the area
