A course that’s waking up
Mount vintage is returning to greatness. It’s also waking up from dormancy so the greens were a bit bumpy and inconsistent. That is to be expected at any course this time of year though. Otherwise great condition and great value. I can’t wait to play it again! Should be immaculate by May!

Tough course
White tees were about 6000 yards but it always seems to play longer. All three nines play tough but many picturesque holes. A little wet in the winter but better than all the other clay-based courses in the area. Golf course is owned by property owners so it will stay well maintained.

Pace of play
The pace of play today was absolutely horrible was on the course 4 hour and 15minutes and quit on hole 14 would have easily been a 5 and a half hour round.

We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. Great Hidden Gem
Drove three hours from Charleston to play this course and I was not disappointed. Definitely will be back in the spring. Great layout and very nice staff..

Awesome time
Had a great time fir this was my wife’s first time playing. The gps on the cart for some reason did not work but I had it on my phone so that did not stop us from having a good time. The weather held out so it was nice.. definitely a nice course and we will play it again.

Great round today.
Got paired with a young couple (Taylor & Zach) and we had a great time together.
Course is in ideal condition for late fall.
Greens are in great shape and roll true on every hole.

Post Dental Semester Outing
Treated myself to a Friday morning tee time after finishing my first semester in dental school. Had a nice pairing with a guy named Rickey that had played the course several times before. Third group out. First two groups ahead started fast but slowed back and threw me off for a couple of holes but I recovered fine.
Independent Front 9 was wide open. Great warm-up.
Crest Back 9 was a little more tight but nice nonetheless.

This course is great. It’s not just grip it and rip it and that’s what makes it great to me.
It’s a shot makers layout. Shot placement is critical to score well here.

first winter round
always a great time when I get out to Mt Vintage to play! It was a little chilly but warmed up by the fourth or fifth hole. Beautiful Layout and the greens and fairways always look amazing!
