Mount Vintage Golf Club - Independent Course

Mount Vintage to me is the most beautiful public golf course in the CSRA area alot of holes u just want to take pictures.

Hat off to the ground crew from tee box to fairway to green which was rolling fast, no complaints, everything was on point.

So she is pretty the golf course but she challenged every part of your game the minute u think u figure it our she slab you back to reality. First class all the way.

Can't wait to come back.

Well I like wearing long sleeve dri fit mock Ts kind of like tiger wears sometimes. I have worn these at golf courses all over the country. when I went to check in the cranky old man in the pro shop said " Do you have a golf shirt ? I wasn't in a mood to argue and I always have one in the car just in case so I said yes, he responds with put it on before you go get your cart. lol cheer up pro shop attendant. $10 for range balls per person. They say all food and drink has to be purchased at the course which i'm fine with, but in 96 degrees please fill your on course water coolers if you are not going to provide a beverage cart. Had a turkey sandwich at the turn as I was starving 2 pieces of turkey on bread nothing else lol. All in all a beautiful golf course with great rates just needs some management help.

Great track to play, but seems like their restaurant/bar never respects the close time on the door. Said they closed at 6pm on a Thursday and the door was locked at 3:45. Rain conditions from earlier in the day may have had something to do with it but this happened on a previous time when I went in at 5:20 and they had already closed out the registers. So I will be bringing my own supplies from now on if they want to select their own hours.

This course is a little ways out of town, so most from Augusta don't feel like driving. Which is great for the golfers that don't want a crowd, but I'm sure not great for the course. Greens are in great condition, didnt find any bad spots in the fairways. Just all around a great course, and unbelievably inexpensive with the Hot Deals discount.

Great greens fast but still soft enough to land on. Three 9s on rotation keeps the course exciting.

I drove over an hour to play here. The course is in great shape, the holes are challenging, and it was well worth it. My only complaint is there needs to be more drinking water available. The summers in SC get a bit warm and hydration is important. I would definitely come back to play again.

This place is great. Love 3 or more 9 hole courses. Variety is key.

Second time playing here. Paired with a three-some who were great to join. Greens had been punched 2 weeks earlier, according g to my partners and except for still able to see the holes, putts rolled pretty smooth.

Several tee boxes were bare but my partners said with the recent dry weather, they had to keep the greens alive and forego the tees. Other than that, no issues.

I enjoyed the course.. The lounge was closed and a staff member went above and beyond to make sure that I could buy drinks and snacks.

The course had not been watered for awhile. Most of the tee boxes were completely dead. A good portion of the fairways were burned out. The greens had just been aerated so putting was impossible. On a positive note I paid $10 less than the booked rate and received a free 6 pack of beer. But the beer was probably to help forget about the course conditions. I wouldn’t waste your money until they water the course and have live grass to play on. Pace was over 5 hours with no rangers on the course to speed things along. Fortunately I had a good group to play with.

One of my favorite all time courses. All 3 nines are great, course usually in great shape.....HOWEVER, playing yesterday was disappointing. As always, all staff is top notch & treat you like a member, but the course is in severe need of water!!! This is usually one of the plushest courses in the upstate area...but now, seriously burned out. Had several tee boxes that were totally gone....not a speck of green on them, all the grass was totally dead. And several spots in almost all the fairways that were burned to a crisp. Greens, as always, were flawless. Not a complainer, but this course just isn't like it should be. Will still return regularly while here for the summer, but if it doesn't rain.....turn on the irrigation!!!! Still in my top 10 in the area!!!

I highly recommend this course to any golfer. Great layout with excellent conditions on the course. Greens rolled true and on the quicker side which I love. Great clubhouse and grill. Excellent course.

This course is a gem among courses in the Augusta area. The conditions are always fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely return to the challenge again and again!
