Early morning round
Great place to tune up the short game and let a few rip with the driver..
Not to shabby, club players were rushing
Course was nice and well kept. Played with 2 + 2 + 1, a club was playing behind us and really tried to rush our playing. I thought we were playing pretty fast as we all had carts and weren’t walking. They wanted to split us into 2 + 3 but honestly that would of made the club wait even longer. Also it was 6am y’all retired why are you rushing people that are playing a good pace. Save that energy for a weekend when it’s crazy
Fun Course for a quick round
Fun little 9 hole course that’s perfect for after work or sneaking in a couple holes on the weekend. It’s walkable and good exercise. Layout is fun and there never seems to be much of a wait on any hole. Greens need some work but for $13 you can beat the value.
Great Morning 9
Played at 6am. Dew was cleaned once we are on hole 3. Pace was slow and no feeling of being rushed. Layout was a pleasant mixture of par 4 and 3’s. Fun 9 hole course for the price. Played it twice in a day
Great Summertime Afternoon Golf
I was impressed with the Entire Staff and the Golf Course.
The Juniors were teeing off when I arrived, and the Starter informed me that the pace of play might be a little slow.
Our Group actually began play about ten minutes ahead of our Tee Time. The Juniors pace of play wasn’t bad. I think that there was only one hole where we had to wait more than 5 minutes to hit our Tee Shots. The course overall was in good condition, although three of the greens had recently been Aerated, and they were still covered lightly with sand.
After the round I grabbed lunch in the restaurant. The Food was cooked to order, and the Louisiana Hot Link with Grilled Onions was Fantastic. I would stop by the course again just for Lunch!!
Overall my experience was very good, and I look forward to playing golf again at “Little Rec” very soon.
The Golf Now “Hot Deal” was the way to go!!
9 fun holes for a great value!
Second time playing Rec Park 9 & I absolutely love this course! Just enough forgiveness & challenge to make a truly enjoyable round of golf. Greens are in outstanding condition and roll true. Even with the drought, the greens keepers do an excellent job of keeping the course in great shape!
