Recreation Park 9 Golf Course

The course is usually in great shape and fun to play. Pace of play is good. To be fair, 3 of 9 greens were under maintenance, hence, I gave the “course condition” 2 stars. I am more annoyed at the fact we were not made aware of 3 marginally unplayable holes.

The greens on three holes looked perfect, yet, we had to play temporary greens. Horribly bumpy for putting. I will call first before booking this course again to find out if there are any temporary greens.

Decent tee boxes, dirt fairways, decent soft sponges greens. Not too tough of a course because it’s so wide with minimal hazards or OB.

Booked this course through golf now. I golf here pretty often. However, when I showed up there was no warning that the course was under construction. 3/9 holes had NO GREENS and there unplayable. I paid $30 for 6 holes. Ridiculous. I asked the staff about it and she said read the sign with really no care about it.

Booked 9 holes through golf now. Showed up to the course and only to find out 3/9 holes were under construction. There were no warnings when I booked the course about construction. When we showed up and pre paid, little late to get out of it. There were no discount from 1/3 of the course was under construction. Everything else was great but there were no warnings of course under construction. I usually play here pretty often and am disappointed by the staffs friendliness when I asked about the situation.

three of the nine holes had temporary greens, nothing said during booking. it would have been nice if they would have mentioned this, I would have gone somewhere else, this was my only critique.

This course should be closed for areating. It was a nightmare on the fairways with big “globs” of mud. What a disappointment!

This place sucked !! The two women starters at the counter are rude as stated by previous comments , don’t forget that dust mask when you walk in , don’t bring yourself and two friends inside one will have to stay outside, your not allowed to ask questions thru the plexiglass over the counter , leave you cash at home they don’t accept American money for services and goods , if your so scared and rude don’t work there we can pay from the outside window that’s there instead listening to you barking orders , Shut your pie hole !! golf carts rips in the seats bald tires score cards and pencil’s are not on the carts , you’ll have to walk back in with your dust mask to get those , you can put those outside too, Bring you own water and a pee bottle , restrooms are closed on the course , not sure what the women would do , not one ball washer on the tee boxes but they know all about that …. Staff and Course not up to par but start with the Staff or just close it down …

Booked a $19 hot deal. Get to the course and they aren't willing to honor it. Say its only a 9 hole course and they can't fit in to play again. Why is this deal advertised if not honored? Drove 3 hours round trip for a 9 hole! Spoke too 3 people who worked there and none were helpful.

Had a great experience. I'm new to the game, and I felt that this course was a nice spot to learn and practice while getting in a good competitive game.

Tee boxes could use some improvements,

Course is in wonderful shape, the lady in the pro shop was awesome, and I really enjoyed my round. We were however paired with an older couple who weren’t great at golf and also played slowly; the marshal seemed to think that was a good reason to come over and scold my friend and me. Even after we explained that we weren’t the culprits he continued to lecture us about ready golf; it left a sour taste in my mouth

I grew up playing on Rec9 and it’s always fun to go back out and play there! Generally the rounds are slower since there are a lot of new golfers, however my fiancé and I finished today’s round in 1 1/2 hours, however sometimes I can take up to 2 1/2 hours. Easy course to walk

Enjoyed being able to get in. They did a great job with green management. Fairways are also well kept. Staff is friendly and kind.

Always a great experience at this course. Staff is very accommodating.
