Lil rec
Course was in great shape, pace of play was great. The only knocks I'd give is the club house attended was not the nicest person, kinda of rude... And the price for 9 holes with cart alittle high...
Fun and Quick
I’ve played here a few times and like that we can complete a round in just under 2 hours. Course is in good shape!
Great challenging short course
The course is in great shape. The greens are well manicured and the fairways well watered. Pace of play was good too. We finished 9 holes in less than 2 hrs.
Nice greens
Staff is friendly the fairways and greens are well taken care of.
Good 9 holes for the money
Paid $15 for 9 holes. Tee boxes were decent. Fairways were ok. Greens were pretty good except for last hole with a couple patches in area were you had to be to get par. Pace of play was awesome. Done in 1.5 hours. Paired up with a cool dude too.
Great time!
Course was in great shape. Some of THE nicest putting greens I’ve ever played. Service was great and pace of play was on point. Just wish there were 9 more holes !
My 2 Cents
A great place to fine tune the swing with multiple pars 4 and 3.
Will definitely go back
Nice place for quick tune up round
Since finding tee times in the Los Angeles area is difficult right now, this was a good alternative to a full 18. The layout had some challenges and the greens were in decent shape after being punched. The executive length is great for tuning your short game on the par-3s and has enough distance on some of the par-4s to use your driver. The current COVID standard of four players max per group every ten minutes has really helped pace of play and we finished our round in about two hours..They have power carts if you need to ride.
Bad day to play
Lil rec is always a great course to play if you don’t have a lot of time. I play there frequently. As long as you get there early enough., you can finish in under an hour and a half. There are four par 4’s, which is great for an executive course since most execs around the area only have 2 par 4’s. I didn’t give as high a review as I would typically because the course was in bad condition the day we played. They just aerated the fairways and it was early morning, so it was muddy and uneven. No one said anything to us until we got to the first tee. Most of the time the course is in decent condition for a muni and provides some decent challenges. I would definitely play there again, but they should probably close the course if they aerate the fairways.
