Great intermediate course
Fun course to play. Quiet surroundings.. someone recently vandalized the third green but the staff is in top of it. I play here all the time, staff is friendly and helpful.
Rec South - 9
Course played well. Got paired up with 2 ladies and another gentleman. Conversation was good and pace was good for the most part.
Fund course to use all your clubs
This js a good course to practice all your clubs. Staff is great and condition of the course is well kept.
Great exec course
7 of 9 greens are very good. 2 not very good but getting better.
Couple of challenging holes. A par4 and 2 par 3s.
Elevation changes and a water hazard. Really more than an executive course.
Started playing here this year and keep coming back.
No restaurant:(
Great shape
Played with a good group of guys and had a good time. Grass was in great shape, but greens were a little bumpy.
Great Pace for Sunday
I've played this course two Sundays in a row and I am very please with the pace of play. The course is in good condition and this is a great choice for beginners and high handicappers.
Quick 9 for game improvement
Perfect course to get your game going and work on it whether it’s your driver, mid irons and wedges.
Fun couple of hours.
Everything is wide open and visible. The markers on the tee box are true. The greens are a bit faster than the practice green. Most the greens are true to the read. Most puts are fairly straight. A couple of the greens have tricky, quick, downhill putts that will turn sharply as the speed of the putt dies at the end. I enjoyed playing the course and the people ( both staff and players ) you meet are friendly.
Lil Rec is Good
9-hole Little Recreation Park is a fun course to play. There are sea breezes which make the course cool, even during the summer. The greens have slope and some hidden knolls. Putting is tricky and the turf can be snaggy. Therefore, success comes from getting approach shots below the hole. Good chipping and pitching is a must. Holes are short so approach shots, putting, and chipping are key.
