Recreation Park 9 Golf Course

9-hole Little Recreation Park is a fun course to play. There are sea breezes which make the course cool, even during the summer. The greens have slope and some hidden knolls. Putting is tricky and the turf can be snaggy. Therefore, success comes from getting approach shots below the hole. Good chipping and pitching is a must. Holes are short so approach shots, putting, and chipping are key.

A nice leisurely 9-hole for the price. No complaints except the green on Hole 3 needs major work.

But sometimes it’s super slow. Recently it was ridiculously slow, but a nice morning regardless. The lady starter was pretty salty because I tried to be pleasant, but I just kept my assumptions aside and remembered I wake up on the wrong side sometimes.

Even with the salted attitude from staff and a super slow 9 holes, I was glad I played that morning, and will be back.

Love the course. Usually it’s a smooth play. This morning was kinda ridiculous with the pace, but worth it with the elders I was paired with. Fun round with them. Pace got so slow, half my group had to leave.

All good! Could’ve had a great morning regardless, except the starter lady.. don’t know why she had such an attitude. All good though, we all have our moments
