El Dorado Park Golf Club

They need to get a range cart with a cage. Second time trying to hit range before a round and wasting money on golf balls because we have to wait 15 minutes for them to pick up balls. The greens need to be rolled. They are getting too soft. The rest of the course is in good shape. foursomes is the way to go. It speeds up the rounds. Played about 4.5 hours compared to 5+ with 5 people.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. I find the small greens coupled with challenging tee shots to be fun and makes you think how you play straight holes and those with bends. Greens were slow, decent conditions. Fairways nice. Rough had lots of blown over trees that have been laying for weeks and signs of homeless camping in them. I feel the course could be kept in better condition rather than just hitting it with a mower. Bunkers and tee boxes are marginal at best. I'll be back, but not in a hurry.

First time playing El Dorado and we teed off @ 6am on a Saturday. Pace of play was great (<4hrs with three players) and the layout/greens were solid. But for $71 with cart, I was hoping for better overall conditions than what I can get for $50 playing an LA City muni track. Bring the greens fees down or improve the course conditions, especially in the fairway/first cut of rough and the bunkers.

While the course is flat, it posed a real challenge with the trees being untrimmed for so many years. Now, all of that has changed. The course was in great condition and I can't wait to play it again.

I book a t time through Golf Now that was showing Hot Deal and paid fee on line including the cart. Upon checking in I was told that it would cost me an additional $15.00 for the cart. According to the staff they don’t deal with the golf now because they independent venue. I told the staffer that they need to resolved the issue because this matter is a false advertisement. We have pay since there are two of us $30.00 more to play although it says on the reservation that cart is included to the T time rate. Hope this type of issue is resolved because it leaves a sour taste when checking in

After shutting down for a number of weeks the condition has NEVER been better! Greens are great. Trees, trees trees. Easy to walk always a bonus. Adrian in the pro shops the best!

Played 3/18/2020 and thought I got a good deal, however, upon reaching the first green I noticed it was freshly punched with sand all over. Needless to say, the remaining 17 greens were in the same poor shape. I am very familiar with golf now and know that usually there will be an “alert” messages notifying customers of course conditions. There was no notifying message of any kind. I feel somewhat cheated because had I known the greens were In that condition I would have never played there.

What a great course. Fun time. Challenging for sure.

El Dorado is always a great course to play. I just wish they had better deals for pricing. Greens were in great shape and the fairways were pristine for a public course. Pace of play was great at 752 tee time. We finished in just under 4 hours.

I use to love to play this course and I stopped because of pace of play, it has been over a year that I stopped play this course, well I went back to give it another try, and nothing has changed the pace of play is still awful,

maybe worse than before, I was on the course 5 hours and only made it to hole 15 not sure I will be back to play this course again.

This course is just too pricey for what it is. Layout is enjoyable, but be prepared for a 6 hour round if you start after 9am.
