El Dorado Park Golf Club

Tee time was 11:20. Didn't tee off until about 11:55. Front 9 took 3 hours, back 9 took 2.5. Barely finished before it got dark. They really need a marshall out there and they need to stop allowing 5somes. There's no reason a round here should take more than 5 hours. Won't be going back in the winter.

Cart path only and Friday after a holiday made for a miserablely slow round at the Dorado today. Tee'd off 20 min behind schedule which coincidentally is how long it took to play each hole on average. The course is pretty nice though despite the slow pace and flooded fairways. I'd play there again if I were one of the first groups off and it wasn't over $50 for the greens fee's.

Playing is so slow so i left before finish full course after 4 hours playing. when i left, there are still remaining 6 course out.

My favorite course in Long Beach! It's in the best shape it ever has been and I've been playing it since 1991. Great routing and perfect greens. The staff is very friendly and the driving range and practice areas are top notch. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

This course has potential but staff is lacking that good customer.

Grew up playing this course and has not changed much in 30 years except greens were much better. Playing fivesomes every 10 minutes create 5 hour rounds. Play early in the morning otherwise plan to be out there all day between starting times running behind and 3 or 4 groups on every hole. We teed off at 10am and finished at 320p.

THE COURSE WAS SET UP HARDER THAN A TOURNAMENT SUNDAY DUE TO A MENS CLUB EVENT CALLED SUPERS REVENGE. GREENS WERE PERFECT. FAIRWAYS MANICURED. LONG BEACH OPEN IS PLAYED HERE EVERY YEAR. FRED COUPLES, XANDER, KEVIN NA ARE FEW PAST WINNERS. GREAT AND CHALLENGING TRACK. 10 OUT OF 10 RECOMMEND TO ANYONE IN THE AREA. IF YOUR PLAYERS CLUB YOU CAN PAY $25 WITH A CART AND A BEER 7 DAYS A WEEK ANYTIME AFTER 12PM. LOVE IT!

I've played the course often, I like it. On this occasion one of my usual partners had a medical emergency with a family member and was unable to play. I found out about this on the way to the golf course. I informed the staff that my twosome was missing a player but I was there to do whatever the course required of me. If the tee sheet was full and it would be hard to get a single out I would gladly go home. If they needed me to play I would play. They placed me some other golfers and we were a full group. I was shocked and disappointed to get an email from golfnow informing me the course was charging me for the missing player. I tried to accommodate the course and this is the thanks I get, where is the consideration for their clientele? This will make me think twice about using El Dorado and Golfnow again.

The pace of play was terrible. They let two groups of five ahead of us, half of them walked which slowed them down even more. Guy at front desk said “were on time today to” when I checked in. We waited 40 minutes to tee off on the first box. Asked to just got to hole ten and denied us. I would never pay that amount to play this course again. Oh and half the greens were wrecked from getting repairs.

Booked thru golf now , showed up 25 minutes early. I was told by staff in pro shop there was a “ problem “ with my booking and they had no room for me. I had to run to first hole and join another group. I’ve played and booked thru golf now in about 9 states over the last year. The other courses gave courtesy call if they had problems. El dorado doesn’t seem to care about customers. Weak.
