Boggy Course

Best thing about this course was the greens however everything else was terrible. The layout the condition and the gap between tee to green is ridiculous.

Worst course I've played in Dumbartonshire.

Dougalston

The course was in very poor condition bunkers scarce of sand not been raked poor fairways and about half of the greens were in poor condition I think they are paying more attention to the health club than the upkeep of the golf course

Perfect weather

Punishing so beware

Whilst the old original course was tough and challenging with lots of quite narrow fairways where you needed to be reasonably straight the new layout has now become ridiculously tight with zero room for error on some holes.

If you can remember the old 8th hole, now the 15th I think, then this is now one of the wider and more forgiving fairways to hit.

On the plus side the bunkers were lovely with good sand and a pleasure to play out of

Wet weather
Walked

Layout has changed but still a tight challenge

Slightly wet underfoot but greens and tees were perfect. Used to be a member back in the early nineties and three holes have changed however it is still a challenging course that requires you to be straight off the tee.

Would definitely return.

Golf Round

Used to play this course often many years ago, course is very challenging although not as challenging as it used to be. Course is in good condition but the drainage wasn't great on certain holes and seemed to have a lot of surface water. Would return when there is less rain, lack of trolleys was a pain.

Nice little course a lot of the holes were tree lined which makes some holes on the course quite tight greens were well looked after but weren't the quickest some holes have ponds on them as well which is quite good overall a good little course value for money as a only paid £15 for the round

Great challenge

Love this course, i would rate as one of the hardest in Glasgow because you need to be straight off the tee on most of the holes as there is no give either side of the fairways. Wont find many courses as good as this for the money either. Will be back again

Decent course

Would have enjoyed more if weather had been better as very wet underfoot.

Some interesting holes with different mix of challenges.

Would play again.

Only negative thing about the course is that you have to walk quite a distance between green to tee.

Challenging mix of holes

Was expecting to play some winter greens given the time of year but they've done a great job of keeping all the greens open. Temporary tees were in operation but don't take away from the challenge of the holes.

The course itself is challenging with some tight tees, long holes, small greens but a good mix.
