About
The Golf Club at North Hampton offers a traditional Scottish links-style course right in northeast Florida. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the layout meanders through dramatic elevation changes of over 40 feet and ten spring-fed lakes lined with coquina boulders. Sprawled across rolling hills and wild grasses, the golf course is sculpted from beautiful Florida woodlands, offering a round that is as scenic as it is challenging. The Golf Club at North Hampton's hard-to-read greens are massive and move very quickly. There are also tight fairways, many of which feature blind approaches. To make it even trickier, strong winds often sweep through the course, some even reaching a speed of 30 miles an hour.

Golfer Reviews
Fun layout
Fairways in good shape. Greens a little bumpy. Looks like they had been aerated recently. Bunkers are in bad shape. Some are good some look as though they are in the process of being repaired. Played 2 months ago same thing. Long time to repair if that is the case. Pro shop never said they should be played ground under repair. All in all a $50 course
Course is in poor shape.
This is a nice layout, but the course is in poor shape. Greens were plugged recently and are bumpy and slow. Sprigs of poianna are in the greens and throughout the fairways. Course was fertilized today and that will help the Bermuda, but weed application is a must.
Great course and affordable
2nd time playing and totally enjoy the course. From Colorado and wish we had a hidden gem like this back home. Unfortunately today we only made it through 12 holes when the rain came in a deluge. Can’t beat the price for this challenging yet quit fun course!
Nice layout
Course is designed and laid out so each hole is very unique and you rarely see other groups. Greens are pretty brown but roll very fast. Lots of water and doglegs make it challenging from any tee box. Pace of play was less than 4 hrs.
Wonderful cource
First timers and it was a most enjoyable day. Hard to believe the price was so reasonable for a course in such good condition and challenging.
Great Layout
Pace of play and course layout were fantastic today! Played in under 3.5 hours, but could have played even faster.. most holes are completely set apart and houses do not come into play. The recent rains have caused some issues to the tee boxes, but overall, the course was great for the price paid.
North Hampton.
Of course many Fl Courses are wide, flat and friendly.
This course did not make you feel you were in Fl.
The trees, bunkers and water were nicely placed to require you pay attention.
Greens were a C+ and I assume they had recently been aerated and were healing. There design and contours offered appropriate challenges.
Thanks Arnie
Great time playing for first time. Course well designed
Sweet and Sour
This course is sweet bc visually it’s very nice. Meandors through some nice houses and also some natural areas. In very good condition except the bunkers, they looked like they had been washed out by rain and that they haven’t been refilled with sand, it’s not all of them but all you’ve got to do is avoid them right? However the sourness comes into to play by the challenge of the course. A good bit of blind tee shots where you can’t see the ball roll out, lots of fairway bunkers and the greens......... they are large greens however they do have a lot of undulation and they will test your green reading ability. Also, the fairways are a very good size however, if you miss a fairway there isn’t much rough to keep you from getting lost. Fun course, you’ll enjoy it and lots of different tee options to choose from for your playing level. The carts do not have GPS but they do have USB ports for your devices. Have Fun!!!!
Great layout, fun greens with lots of character
It was a great day of golf for my wife and I. Lots of water and other hazards. It was probably just today, but the pace of play was really fast. We played in about 3 hours and 20 minutes as a twosome. I highly recommend and hope to get a chance to play again soon.
A must play
This course is wonderful
It is a real test of golf
Make sure to pick the appropriate tee to fit your handicap
The layout is to die for
The greens were somewhat slow but that was due to unusually warm weather currently
North Hampton
The course lay out is terrific and unlike most courses her in Northeast Florida. This course is a must play. Layout is fair for all levels of ability. The most surprising was how nice the course is and the condition is great. This is a must play
