Golfer Reviews
LA Golf
Course was in really good condition. But it took us about 3 hours to play 9.
It’s okay
It’s a decent course with the deepest rough I’ve seen in a while. The only real complaint is they charged more than my reservation price and also added a charged for cart when it was a part of the package.
Ugh
Chester is always a toss up. 20 minutes behind on tee times and hitters wait for the groups to clear the greens as if they can drive the greens. Pace of play could’ve been better. Not enough staff as shared by the starter which caused groups to wait and create their own tee times since nobody was holding them accountable to their booking time.
Course is in pretty good shape wish there was a cart person with some drinks and food options
Fun course but late sunday pace was slow
Restaurant was closed when we got to the turn. Course itself was fun - decently maintained for a public course. Pace was slow - 5 and 1/2 hour round. (Sunday early afternoon)
First time
Good course. Marshall rode us through the first 5 or 6 pretty hard. We’re not great, but my group knows that and we keep the game moving. Think he didn’t like us for some reason but not sure. Maybe he’s had problems with groups our age range
Holes are so close to each other
Much of the course is built with holes that are laid out parallel. This makes for lots of balls coming into and going into other holes.
Playing crowd was on the older end, making for a pretty slow pace for golf. Nothing challenging in terms of obstacles.
