About
Singing Hills Golf Club offers two 18-hole championship courses, Oak Glen and Willow Glen, as well as a 9-hole, par-3 course. The courses are tucked into a valley, surrounded by mountains and sloping hillsides that provide stunning backdrops on almost every hole. The Sweetwater River runs through the Oak Glen Course, coming into play on several holes including the memorable fifth hole, which is definitely a contender for one of the best par 4s in San Diego. This challenging hole requires an accurate drive across the river. The gently rolling terrain is sprinkled with mature trees. The layout features undulating greens and tight fairways. It is a challenging golf course but it is generally forgiving off of the tees, which makes it slightly less difficult than the hillier Willow Glen Course on property.

The condition of this course sucks and you, GolfNow should be aware of this and should let the customer now at booking on line!
The course was in horrible shape and you should now the conditions of the course. The fairways were like a jigsaw puzzle for some unknown reasons. The greens were in very bad shape, words cannot express the conditions of the greens. Green number 18, two-thirds was closed because the green was so bad! I would not recommend this course until the course is fixed. I would also

Willow Glen vs Oak Glen
Willow Glen is in great shape and the course is laid out really well. When we played there was hardly anyone out and we could play at our own pace. Had a chance to play Oak Glen and That part of the course seems to be under construction can’t. That part of the course seems to be Undergoing maintenance. The greens were in good shape but the fairways, not so much. All in all I would say Willow Glen is in twice the condition that Oak Glen is in. A good resort to play Golf.

awful condition!!!
I play this course very often but today condition was the worst. Greens and fairways are awful.

Oak Glen
Fairways wee sparse but understandable since it has been very hot with no rain. The greens were slow. The layout is quite good. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Stay away!
What happened to this course? I was embarrassed to play here. The tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in the worst shape I have ever seen. It's like the course closed and they let nature take over. I have played here several times in various tournaments, and I have never seen the course in such terrible shape. I thought we had snagged a good deal, but now I can see why the round was so cheap. Also, we played behind four - yes, FOUR - fivesomes. After waiting on every shot, the cart girl finally encouraged us to skip from four to nine and come back later. I was so incredibly disappointed. It will be a long time before I come back to Singing Hills.

Poor course management
I’ve played here for years , My son Sam Fradette gets weekly lessons from Rick L , we played today on Oak Glenn for 60 bucks each , not even close to being in shape to charge that , ( I felt ripped off ) , I have played this place for years , to high priced for the conditions right now , talked to a member after the round and he gave me the scoop , hope it changes soon , Sam will always keep his Lessons with Rick L , cause he is first class all the way, if u have a young one to get going or a teen that wants to play right , Rick L is the guy

Worst golf experience in years
Course conditions were terrible. Pace of play was awful...4 hours and 45 minutes with no marshal. Layout was nothing more than a typical municipal golf course. I would never recommend this course to anyone!

What Happened to this place?
Not sure if COVID has put Singing Hills on hard times or if there’s new management but the course is In REAL bad shape. Just a couple years ago, it was immaculate. A lot of greens are dead in many places. Patchy. Where the grass is good, they roll like carpet. Fairways are chewed up. Spend your money elsewhere. Until they figure it out.

Great course layout. However the greens and fairways were over grown. May have to be due to the heat to keep them from burning. Have played this course many times over the years.

Brutal
Home to one of the worst courses ever created. It revolves around a pond full of sewage runoff from the nearby bathroom, and the only challenges are it’s poorly maintained dirt fairways with trees aligned in the balls flight path. I expect much more for 90 dollars on a Sunday afternoon than waiting 10 minutes each shot without a beer cart within sight to pass the time between shots.

My 2 star rating was all about value and course condition. The greens are usually top notch at this course, but there was issues with almost every one. A fungus or something else. As a result, it made it not overly enjoyable, and certainly NOT worth the $95 you were charging at the time. Having played this course almost every month for the last 2+ years - the greens were in the worst conditions I've seen. I would play again, but not for the $95 green fees, unless the greens can be vastly improved
