Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Oak Glen
About
Singing Hills Golf Club offers two 18-hole championship courses, Oak Glen and Willow Glen, as well as a 9-hole, par-3 course. The courses are tucked into a valley, surrounded by mountains and sloping hillsides that provide stunning backdrops on almost every hole. The Sweetwater River runs through the Oak Glen Course, coming into play on several holes including the memorable fifth hole, which is definitely a contender for one of the best par 4s in San Diego. This challenging hole requires an accurate drive across the river. The gently rolling terrain is sprinkled with mature trees. The layout features undulating greens and tight fairways. It is a challenging golf course but it is generally forgiving off of the tees, which makes it slightly less difficult than the hillier Willow Glen Course on property.

Sycuan
It was a little slow due to a slow 4 some, but the course is well manicured, greens were above average and their cart seats were so comfy. The check in was a breeze and the starter kept us updated on when we needed to line up.
This course has a nice layout and great features for the price
Course was in very good condition and was fun to play with the exception of the sand traps. The sand traps where mostly hard pan dirt/gravel and lacked fluffy sand.. But overall it's a great deal for the money and would definitley play it again and would ecommend it to my fellow golfers.
Great Day of Golf!
The course was in fantastic shape and we still played a 4 1/4 hour walking round with a frost delay. Staff was chill and helpful, saw the beverage cart multiple times. Will be back for sure.
Great scenery
Did not see a bag drop coming in and noticed no carts loading in the parking lot, so I lugged my clubs up to the club. It was a hike compared to most courses. Great staff. Pro shop well stocked. Golf carts comfortable. Course layout clear of housing except down the right side of hole 11. The greens were in great shape and the fairways were decent. Great scenery and the water holes called for course management. The only thing I didn't care for on course were the holes which went one way and you turn back around and go back the opposite way. There were several holes like this where we had others playing from our fairway to get back to theirs. Sand traps were manageable. Course was a bit slow. We were always waiting on the next tee box.
5 Some and Two Open Holes
We were a twosome supposed to be paired with another twosome who didnt show. So were obviously going to be right on the 2 couples ahead of us. The front 9 was 2.5 hrs and then on the back there were 2 holes open ahead of then. On 12 another cart drove by us and then joined the 2 couples ahead of us who were 2 holes behind the pace of play. So now a 5?some with 3 carts and 6 people. No marshall in sight. We actually drove around them and skipped hole 12. They charge top dollar but you dont get the commensurate service for for the price. I like the course too bad the staff lacks professionalism.
Long walk to pro shop
Course in great condition. I'm exhausted to walk my clubs from the parking lot to the pro shop. Provide a shuttle please.
Walked it as course is overseeded
It was walking only, but it allowed us to get a feel for the property. The holes were pretty straightforward and the greens in good shape. There's water early and probably water when it rains.
You may also be able to watch SDFC train there this winter and spring
