Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Willow Glen
About
Willow Glen is one of two 18-hole championship courses at Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort), which also boasts a 9-hole, par-3 course. Nestled in a valley between lush hillsides, the golf courses all offer stunning mountain views. The mountains also help to block the wind, which allows for more agreeable playing conditions. Willow Glen is slightly more challenging than the other championship course due to a hillier terrain and more fairways that are tightly lined with mature pines, oaks, and cottonwoods. The trees shape the landing zones and add definition to the doglegs. Proper placement off the tees is necessary for doing well on this course. Contoured mounding borders the greensides as well as more than 40 bunkers. Water also comes into play on six holes. The 11th through the 15th holes are an impressive stretch that presents a variety of challenges as well as unrivaled scenery.

Fun
Singing Hills has great courses. Challenging and scenic. The only thing I would add for golfers here is drinking water on the course. The cart person was not coming around often enough and would be nice to fill up my own water bottle on the course and not have to pay for a bottle. If they keep the pricing around $80 and put drinking water throughout the course I would play here more often.
Best course at sycuan (maybe until the redone one fully opens anyways?). Good condition greens and tee boxes + friendly staff
Willow Glen
Nice course and fast but fair greens. Bunkers have little or no sand and fairways show lots of play but course is definitely worth playing, room to miss and still recover.
Beautiful course in great condition
Loved playing singing hills, hope to come back soon.
Expect a long day on weekends!
I was a little worried about finishing with an 11:30 tee time; however there was a 30 minute frost delay and the front 9 took over 3 hours! Don’t expect help from the staff to move folks along- there was a group of 6 and another group a hole and a half behind contributing to the extra long wait times each shot. There was a members event on the other course where all the volunteers / marshals were playing… prepaid round so no help from the course… not even range balls for the delay (welcome to buy a bucket)
Iplay here a few times a year and course is always well maintained
Brill
Lovely course, challenging but manageable. I loved the variety of each hole. Beautiful setting. Staff friendly and helpful. Would love to return.
Great Course!
Nice course, great value. Pace of play was a bit slow because there was a group of like 10 in front of us - think they had some kind of event they were doing but kept pace of play slow. Other than that, a great course & awesome golf carts!
Played Willow Glen. Greens were immaculate and fast. Pace of play was fine. Tee boxes good. Tight fairways with lots of hazards.
Driving range closed?
Greens, tee boxes, fairways were all in great shape.
Third time here and the driving range is always netted off? Come on folks. Open up the driving range daily? I would like to see my shot shapes before I play. For the price they charge, I would expect to see ball washers at least at every other hole- there are zero ball washers. Cart service was good. Carts have coolers but no ice?
Pace. We were on our group in front of us, who didn’t know how to play ready golf. They kept advancing, then circling back 70 yards. We almost hit them once on accident. Was asked to speed up by the Marshall once, but literally every approach shot and tee off we waited for our group in front of us. 3 hours front nine. 2 hour back nine. Got done as soon as the sun setted. Could not stop to get food due to pace, feeling rushed on the back nine. Would play here again but not at noon. Has to be earlier to expect to finish here.
