About
Sitting at the gateway to the renowned Napa Valley wine district, Chardonnay Golf Club meanders through acres of lush Chardonnay and Merlot vineyards dotted with sparkling lakes and wandering creeks. Native flora and fauna cover the golf course, which also provides a home for an abundance of wildlife including hawks, foxes, bobcats, and even the occasional golden eagle. Besides the spectacular setting, the layout provides one of the most challenging rounds in the area. The rolling landscape provides interesting elevation changes and there are plenty of mature trees coming into play. Several holes also feature water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. Chardonnay Golf Club's greens are lightning fast and the course plays long. One of the most memorable holes, both for the scenery and level of difficulty is the par-3 eighth. This hole is framed by stunning views of the Valley and it requires some clever shotmaking skills.

Slow
Course in good condition. Fun course to play, but today it was brutally slow. Tee off at 11:30 and finished just before 5pm. A round of golf should never take that long.
Great day at the course. Clean air!!
The fairways and the greens are looking pretty good. Actually, the greens are in great shape, and the fairways are in a better state than many of the other golf courses close by.
Pace of play was great.
It would be nice if you’d re-open the snack bar between 9 and 10.
Course is okay
It was an okay round. Course is in good condition. Not totally back from sanding but definitely playable. Layout ,I've always liked

Horrible conditions. The course is in bad shape. Greens are awful. Wont be going back.
Still a great deal for a premium course
wonderful course in great condition! Greens were sandy due to aerification but this was made known prior to the round so no surprise to us, we were fine with it. Highly recommended!

This is always the go to for myself and my two sons beautiful layout . People are very friendly and good environment .
Garbage
Punched greens and back 9 closed without warning or discount. Had to play front twice, but they didn’t cut tee times, so huge backup on 1. Rip off

1st time playing here and was not disappointed. I'll be back!
Great Course, Terrible Pace of Play
I have played Chardonnay twice in the last month. The course is in great shape and at a great price. My only complaint is the pace of play. If you can’t get a tee time before 9 am, expect a 5+ hour round. My first round this month ended up being a 6 hour round and the second was a little over 5 hours.
Smoky day on the course.
The course conditions were good but some parts of the course are showing signs of drying out a bit.
The staff lived up to expectations - very positive and eager to please.
Still one of my favorite courses.
