Ojai Valley Inn

The course was nice but the price they charge is way more then the course is worth playing.. Parking is unfriendly unless you get one of the ten spots near the starter but very unlikely. So you drop your bag off and park about 1/4 - 1/2 a mile away and walk back in your golf shoes on concrete and asphalt. This is where they blow it for the amount they charge they should have shuttle just for golfers walking and pick them up or send a shuttle to follow you when you go park to bring you back.

I’ve been in the area for a year now and finally had an opportunity to play this course. It was a lot of fun and a good challenge. The greens were a bit bumpy but very consistent throughout. The course is very short so it gives you an opportunity to play a lot of different shots.

My only complaint is that it is not well marked. It was difficult finding the driving range, never found a putting green, 1st tee and 10th tee were well hidden and parking was a hike away.

Now that I have the lay of the land, I will be back.

The Staff bent over backwards to make sure we had a good time and got us out a little early. Everything seems to be going great until we got to the 18th hole when they shortened it around the women’s tee. Are use the blue tees and my partner uses the white so when we got to the 18th. TeeIt was anti-climatic it was short due to An event

Held in the barn I don’t know if this is standard practices every time they have an event but when I came down to a good day a 300 yard par 18 meant nothing.

We had a great time until we got to the 18th hole , where they shortened it way down almost to a par three do to and event at the BARN. There is always events at the BARN so I don’t know if this is a standard procedure. It made it a very anti-climatic ending when are used to teeing off from the blues now you’re teeing off from almost the Reds if not shorter very disappointed

Was married at the Inn back in 92 and of course the honeymoon included a few rounds of golf. No better place, and what a deal for golf. What history and excellence in this arena for the “Lost Horizon.”

Top notch course, service, and staff. Beautiful scenery and great conditions.

The pace of play was very slow for a high end resort course. The greens were very slow and bumpy.

This is maybe a once a year place to play. Always a nice vibe here though.

This course is so beautifully designed and I would recommend any golfer at any skill level to go and play it!! The mountains are a gorgeous scenery behind alot of holes and the up and downs,trenches and gorges make this course a difficult challenge for any skill level,so kudos to the two gentlemen who designed this course!! Although my first time here was a little difficult,it is extremely fair fair to those of us who are a 14 handicapper and above!!

I will be back to this wonderful and beautifully designed course,loved it very much!! Got to see some deer out here on the course as well!!

The course was in great shape, especially the greens. Check in staff was friendly and accommodating.
