Sweetwater Country Club is situated amid the beauty of the Wekiva State Park. Sweetwater is one of Orlando's premier golf courses, boasting a challenging championship layout with some of the area's best greens. The classic links layout brings a taste of Scottish golf to central Florida. Mature oaks shade the golf course, lining the fairways and framing the greens. The 6,238-yard layout offers a good amount of length but it's definitely not a grip-it-and-rip-it course thanks to tight fairways that require accurate shot placement. The course is home to one of the longest par 5s in the Southeast, a challenging 625-yard hole that is aptly named the "Loch Ness Monster." The heavily tree-lined hole double doglegs around a large lake. There are some challenging holes but Sweetwater Country Club isn't overly punishing for the high handicapper.

The staff here make the course, from the pro shop to the bartender to the kitchen, everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. Course is looking better too! Will be back

Old Sweet

Played this course back before the dismantling of the pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, driving range, shortening of holes. It was the spot in North Orlando. I played it during Covid for over a year too. Other than new clubhouse nothing has changed. Weeds everywhere and a lack of grass, the greens are poor as well with bad spots on most of them. Sorry to see the decline of this course. Not worth the ticket price.

Fun little layout on the back nine, but those might be the worst greens I’ve ever played on. No range, or chipping area.

Decent value for the money and very friendly staff!

The course was rough in most spots - bare fairways in spots, greens were somewhat inconsistent in terms of grass. The layout was fine - we enjoyed the hole variation.

The pro shop staff were outstanding - we had a delay in getting to the course and they were very accommodating in getting us off once we arrived - thanks!

THIS IS ACTUALLY A REALLY NICE COURSE! ELEVEN (11) KILLING FROSTS HAVE SEVERELY DAMAGED ALL THE FAIRWAYS AND SURROUNDING GREENERY THIS WINTER. CAN'T FIGHT MOTHER NATURE!!! HOWEVER, A BETTER IRRIGATION SYSTEM WOULD HELP IMMENSELEY.

Its a very nice layout, but in terrible condition in all facets of the course. greens deseased, fairways hard as rock with huge areas of no grass and out areas pure dirt. if it wasnt on the inexpensive side and had availability would not play it.
