Terrible terrible condition
Do not play this course.. end of March playing off winter matts … winter tee boxes… temporary greens that aren’t tempory greens just a hole in the ground half way up the fairway… not golf at all and place is a swamp .. plugged lies and ended up mucked to the eyeballs .. worse still air blower off so had to put dirty bag, shoes and trolley into car! Not a happy camper please AVOID
Not playable in winter
The course was like a bog. Had to use mats to play except the tee mats and greens

The course was in excellent condition 5 star I can’t fault Ballyclare , great day was had by all.
Been a while but well worth a return
It’s been some years since I played the course and I was delighted to see how it has matured. Fairways and Greens were set up immaculately and the course has good mix of holes requiring distance hitting and/or positional play.
I look forward to returning soon.

The course was in great condition & weather was good, and staff very nice, so it was a good day out
Good course but avoid after October
Great course, greens really quick but I’ve never seen a course get so wet and mucky and it’s not been a wet November
Gem
This may be my go to course, there's enough challenges to keep a golfer interested and it's greens are great.
Best I’ve seen it
I’ve played Ballyclare a few times last year and really enjoyed it, but this is the first time I’ve played it in dryish conditions.
The fairways and greens were in great shape. The greens rolled true and were quick. The course is challenging, if the 2nd 9 is a bit more dull than the front.
The facilities are excellent, there’s a driving range at the club shop and the clubhouse has brilliant views over the course and the food is excellent
