Allen Park Golf Club

In fairness the greens could have been better but for it being a council course I can't complain.

I would recommend Allen Park for new golfers

Great municipal course, greens are a little rough but nonetheless a good course for the money.

Played Allen park for my first round of 18 golf on any course. The course is challenging for first timers but throughly enjoyable. Will be back.

I went to Allen Park on my way home from portStewart and it had stopped raining. Opened golf now and Allen was there at £25. Thought good value could be crap might be ok. It was superb. Nice flat track with lots of challenges on the way. Bunkers just where my ball landed which was a pain but part of the fun. I will be back there and it was a super track. Quite long holes to get you to up your game but open fairways for the novices. Really top marks

Excellent fairways but tees could be neater. The greens are a bit patchy but excellent value for money. Quite a dander with extended distances between some holes. Could do with a few more sign posts.

Course was in good condition though some lawnmower lumps of grass on the fairways and edge of greens.

Busy but played as a 2 ball in 3 hrs 30.

Very enjoyable round helped by fellow golfers letting enjoyable through when required course ingoid condition

Love playing this course, always in great condition, especially the greens! The layout is challenging and the length of the holes are a test of golf! For the value to play this course, you can't beat it!

If you haven't played it, its definitely worth a try.

Course in good condition rough off fairways hard to get ball out sometimes keep on the short grass you'll be fine

Fairways and greens ok grass on side of the fairways can be bit harsh for ordinary players

We played a 4 ball on the course. It was 1st time on this course. It was very well kept, had a mix of 4 very challenging long Par 5s, tough Par 4s and some fun Par 3s. Good tough course and we agreed its on our list to play regualarly now. Definitely worth playing!

Long course. Course was in decent nick and for price paid its value for money, I had early tee off so not caught in traffic but noticed a lot of four balls which could make playing on own during busy times difficult

Golf course was great and playing well .. greens are slow and challenging enough.. bunkers had soft sand so all in all great we course. Would and will be back..

The offer afterwards in the bar and food area A PINT OF BEER AND A BURGER FOR A TENNER (which we had) and we'll worth the money and lovely at that..

Course in great condition.

Staff at reception were excellent.

Pace of play was fine until about the 15th when we caught up with a 2 ball behind a 3 ball of ladies visiting from another club.

We joined up with the 2 ball who were members and enjoyed 3 holes with them.

It was a slow 3 holes because of those in front of us!

The weather was perfect. All the greens were hollow tined so putting was dismal. Course needs some TLC in parts so make it a little more welcoming for beginners. It also needs some directional signage to show you where to go to next hole. Otherwise good value for money.
