Beautiful,Challenging Course

This was my first time playing this course and I wasn't disappointed. It is a beautifully laid out course in a very scenic location. There are 5 or 6 really difficult holes over water which make it a great challenge. Only minor gripe is it could be better sign posted on the road outside the course as this was our first visit and we missed it at first.

Staff let them down

Good course which I've played a few times, but the last time I injured my back on the 4th hole. I struggled up to the club shop in obvious agony and explained what had happened. We'd just paid £25 each and I asked about a partial refund or a stump to let me back on some time. Other courses in the area are extremely open to this kind of arrangement but I feel it was because I'm a younger adult he could barely hide his amusement while telling me no way. Even a tenner back would have been something, a nice gesture. I work minimum wage and to be fair, didn't use 75% of what I'd paid for. Maybe most golf clubs never do refunds but like I said in the North Coast they are generally very receptive to it so I was pretty disappointed

FANTASTIC COURSE, UNFORTUNATLEY WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF RAIN RECENTLY AND THE COURSE SUFFERS FOR IT,VERY SPONGEY ALL OVER WHEN WE PLAYED. USUALLY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTRA BALLS AS IT CAN GOBBLE THEM UP, PLENTY OF WATER HAZARDS,APART FROM THE WEATHER ITS A FANTASTIC COURSE, SOME EXCELLENT HOLES 13 TO 16 ESPECIALLY AND A REAL TEST OF GOLF, YOU WILL THOROUGHLY ENJOY IT

Course in good condition despite awful recent rain

As a novice lady golfer I found the course pretty scary at times! Two balls into the lake at the first! However really enjoyed it and would love to go back when the ground is firmer
