Terrible experience.
Today was my first time trying this course. We were told at the start to play off winter tee boxes. We understood as we are members of a different course. We were shouted at and harassed by a member of the course for not using a winter tee box on the third hole. We were unable to locate the winter tee box as it was 50/60 yards down the fairway. Instead of asking nicely or even showing us in a nice way where the tee box was he insisted to threaten us by getting kicked off the course for a simple mistake. He used foul language and spoke down to us. He then decided to follow us around the course like we were children. Very creepy man. We were unable to enjoy a round, something we paid for to have a good time. Staff weren’t very helpful either as we weren’t informed before teeing off that the back 9 holes weren’t playable.
Balmoral golf club
Excellent flat course..from 1st to the 18th. Well kept with not to many areas to lose a ball..so play flowed for all groups. Will be back
Lovely flat course
If you can get Balmoral for £20 then I would recommend. Another fair course that rewards good play. Big bonus in being so flat it feels like an enjoyable stroll. Have had some problems with food in the past but the new guys they have got in are very good, food was great. Some good memorable signature type holes. Don't have to be a massive hitter to reach so overall one of my favourites in the greater Belfast area.
Worth a try.
Pro was very helpful on arrival & with works ongoing on the greens he let us go around to play the 3 holes we had to bypass. Was in great condition with recent works the greens running true & fast.
Lovely hidden gem!
Really nice course. Arrived early for our tee-time and the pro shop guy let us tee off early. Thanks. Great day out , pro and members very friendly. Fairways and greens in great condition but only downside was yardage markers for the greens. WILL definitely play again. Thanks GOLFNOW, starting to enjoy Saturday golf again.

Thé course was in very good condition and the greens were excellent it’s a long walk but you can hire buggies I think there were some out on the course but none at the pro shop but I would definitely recommend it to anyone as it is a good course
