Balmoral Golf Club

Had a great round.

The course is in good condition for this time of year.

We where disappointed that you needed to be signed into the clubhouse by a member which was a pity.

Overall we all enjoyed our visit.

Three of us played the course today for the first time. As 20+ handicappers, several of the lengthy par 4s proved a great challenge for us. .Doglegs feature on several holes, all to the benefit of the RH guys

The course was in excellent condition throughout and provided a wide variety of holes. The stream features on 11th par 3 and 15th dogleg par 4, both are beautiful holes and demand accurate shots. Hole 18 at 444yds is arguably one of the best finishing holes I have played.

The greens were magnificent, running true throughout. Apparently they were a tad slower than usual in preparation for that tight cut for Capt’s day in 4 days.

The undulating greens provide a great challenge. They certainly provide great opportunity for nasty pin positions.

There were two young junior golfers manning the pro shop in the afternoon, gentlemen were both. We will hopefully have the opportunity of playing the course again soon.

Balmoral was in stunning condition. The greens were fantastic and a good variety of holes. Guys in pro shop very helpful and friendly. Never had time to eat in clubhouse but it did look very nice from the bit I saw of it.

Great course and great condition.. best going in afternoon to avoid slow play

Absolutely gorgeous course, very well maintained. The greens where lovely, unpredictable and very entertaining to play. Fairway was a dream to play off. I will be back.

The back nine was closed due to recent heavy rain which is beyound canyones control. A few old boys playing who still had good golf skills but unfortunately had terribly slow pace and should be much quicker to call other speedier players through.

The course had been closed due to poor conditions the day before we played and the back 9 remained closed on the day. Nevertheless we really enjoyed the round and are thankful to the club for pulling out all the stops to remain open. The tee boxes were extremely wet but the fairways were quite playable. Kudos to the greens keepers, who have done an excellent job on greens, all of which were very well presented.

Great very accessible course if i could afford it I'd become a member lol

A very welcoming Golf Club. I played this course during a very rainy period and it was a treat to play. The greens were still fast and in great condition. I've yet to see better skilled and more hard working ground staff.
