Gem of a course
Beautiful course with some challenging holes, course is well laid out with plenty of signs directing you to the next tee box, greens in immaculate condition considering the hot weather we have been having, some fairways baked but that's to be expected with no rain in over 10 days, all In all would definitely recommend playing this gem I for sure will definitely be back
Fabulous
Great Course and Condition. Only thing was stuck behind 4 men playing, had two buggies. Messing about and taking an age playing. Poor!
Castlereagh Hills
Played here again having played a few years back and loved it. Unfortunately the course seems to have gotten worse. The tee boxes are unlevel and more like bunkers with the amount of sand, the rough is covered with old grass clippings which makes it near impossible to find your ball or play out off if your unlucky enough to go in.
The fairways a bare/mud tracks in places however hopefully a few more good weeks will sort that out
I was looking forward to going to Castlereagh Hills and had brought 3 friends .. unfortunately our experience wasn't as good as I'd hoped
Great course
Great value for money, course in excellent condition. Nice variety of holes. Just a shame on a lovely sunny afternoon we couldn’t have food or drink on the balcony as currently there is no restaurant franchise. Hope to come back later in the season especially when there is facility to have a drink after our round.
Lovely course
Weather was good and course was in good order. First time playing the course, played off yellows shorter than I thought but suited me fine. Looking forward to returning.
Castlereagh Hills
Course wasn't to bad for all the rain that fell last week slow play was a big problem that day no Course ranger on hand to keep play moving
Good value & vibes
Always think Castlereagh has a friendlier feel than certain other local courses. It was fairly busy but everyone seemed relaxed about it. Not an overly long course but tight in places and some memorable holes.
Great wee layout
Usually start new season off at this wee gem lady on reception could have better attitude, not first time these my thoughts.
Playing off mats on tee boxes and fairways takes a lot away from the course. It’s usually very enjoyable and thought it was a bargain before playing but I would definitely wait until spring before playing here again.
Enjoyable
Was very good value and it was a nice enjoyable day, the course was in good condition and finished the day at 19 th excellent
Very well maintained golf course
Pleasure to play this course. Quite a long walk between some tee boxes. Compulsory use of fairway mats in winter would put me off playing at that time of year
