Good value & vibes
Always think Castlereagh has a friendlier feel than certain other local courses. It was fairly busy but everyone seemed relaxed about it. Not an overly long course but tight in places and some memorable holes.

Great wee layout
Usually start new season off at this wee gem lady on reception could have better attitude, not first time these my thoughts.

Playing off mats on tee boxes and fairways takes a lot away from the course. It’s usually very enjoyable and thought it was a bargain before playing but I would definitely wait until spring before playing here again.

Very well maintained golf course
Pleasure to play this course. Quite a long walk between some tee boxes. Compulsory use of fairway mats in winter would put me off playing at that time of year

Decent course, decent price
All round the course was in decent condition. However, staff didn’t advise that 18th green was closed, with a random flag placement in the middle of the fairway. Somewhat spoiled then end of a good round!
