Worst course played
This was definitely the worst course I’ve played the course layout seemed as if it was done by a 5 year old the holes were really badly sign posted and as a result I missed out 3 holes the pace of play was terrible and the fairways were covered in grass cuttings so even when you hit a good drive your ball still ended up with a clump of grass on it the greens weren’t much better as they were full of un repaired divots if I had the choice of playing this course for free I’d just give up golf
Unfortunate staff member
1st time playing this course. In 26c heat it was sure to be a struggle, fairways in good nick and also greens.
Some long enough walks from tee to tee, but when the weather is cooler it shouldn't be as much of a problem.
Arrived to tell the staff member that I had a two ball booked. She glared at the clock as it was 2 mins before my tee time and declared that it was "rammed" and to basically get a move one. This was a complete lie as I had checked tee off times just before getting out of my car. Poor form when i asked about score cards too. Bad customer service but can't let that fault an otherwise nice course.
It’s like the walking dead!
Played 5 holes paid for 18, 8 minute spacing for tee times is a disaster 😡
Log jam at the 3rd!
£44 wasted. You need a ranger to move people along more swiftly.
Single in front it is didn’t offer to step aside nor did the 3 ball in front of him. We were 2.
Staff offered no apology just said they were busy, no excuse just greed letting so many people play.
Wet n windy golf
For such a wet n windy day course in great nick, playing after a lay off after medical procedure so nice to get out and body stood up well to challenges of playing golf, just need my game to improve but course very good
Nice course
Good golf course but, being hilly, the drainage wasn't good. Quite soggy. Would love to play it again after a few dry days.
Greens were solid considering the weather.
Nice course would come back again. Will try arrange my society to play here
Top stuff
Great course, well kept, good price, lovely staff and decent clubhouse
Gem of a course
Beautiful course with some challenging holes, course is well laid out with plenty of signs directing you to the next tee box, greens in immaculate condition considering the hot weather we have been having, some fairways baked but that's to be expected with no rain in over 10 days, all In all would definitely recommend playing this gem I for sure will definitely be back
Fabulous
Great Course and Condition. Only thing was stuck behind 4 men playing, had two buggies. Messing about and taking an age playing. Poor!
Castlereagh Hills
Played here again having played a few years back and loved it. Unfortunately the course seems to have gotten worse. The tee boxes are unlevel and more like bunkers with the amount of sand, the rough is covered with old grass clippings which makes it near impossible to find your ball or play out off if your unlucky enough to go in.
The fairways a bare/mud tracks in places however hopefully a few more good weeks will sort that out
I was looking forward to going to Castlereagh Hills and had brought 3 friends .. unfortunately our experience wasn't as good as I'd hoped
Great course
Great value for money, course in excellent condition. Nice variety of holes. Just a shame on a lovely sunny afternoon we couldn’t have food or drink on the balcony as currently there is no restaurant franchise. Hope to come back later in the season especially when there is facility to have a drink after our round.
Lovely course
Weather was good and course was in good order. First time playing the course, played off yellows shorter than I thought but suited me fine. Looking forward to returning.
Castlereagh Hills
Course wasn't to bad for all the rain that fell last week slow play was a big problem that day no Course ranger on hand to keep play moving
