Rockmount Golf Club

Really enjoyed the golf. Pace of play was slow tho and two locals jumped in between slots behind us with a buggy which just put pressure on the play. Let them through only to catch up to a group of 4 by the 7th and stuck behind them the rest of the course. Wish players replaced their divots more, too many of them were fresh from that day lying around and ended up replacing other players divots who had played before us. Course was in good condition tho. Greens take a bit of getting used to as many of them have a continuous slope from one end to the other, it’s like putting on a hill a lot of the time. But, thoroughly enjoyed the day and pint of Guinness after.

Played today the course was great condition greens very fast tested your ability to finish the hole out ! Had dinner in the restaurant food was excellent

I play Rockmount whenever I’m in Northern Ireland. I love the course. It’s interesting, with many unique holes. It can be difficult, but it’s always fair. The clubhouse and staff are brilliant. It’s a great place for a 19th hole pint and meal.

This is a lovely course to play when we decide to play away from our home course for a change. Every hole is different and interesting, with challenges that are manageable if you’re paying attention. The course was in great shape, with the bunkers and greens being very well maintained…and consistent. The staff in the pro shop and bar/restaurant are always friendly and the food/drink are excellent. This is one of my favourite courses when away from “home”.

Love this course. Some brilliant holes fir your driver especially the par 5's. Greens are superb, have just been sanded as standard practice in March but still fast. Greens will be brilliant in a couple of weeks as superbly maintained. Still haven't scored at stroke index 1....arghh. Final hole is a real challenge. Highly recommend Rockmount for mid to low handicap players.

I tried to cancel this round as I got a phone call at 08:45 to tell me the course is closed due to snow. Tried to get a refund from GolfNow but all I get is a message saying a refund is ineligible. Pretty poor from GolfNow in my opinion

Played the course many times now, incredible greens for this time of year!!! Whole course was in great shape, Green staff clearly know what there doing, keep up the great work!!

1st time at this golf club and it couldn't have started better the girl at the club shop was so nice and helpful. Then the course itself was in excellent condition, with really stunning views. The tee boxes where the best I've played all year. The greens were amazing, no bumps, same speed on all of them. Honestly one off the best courses I've ever played and will definitely be back.

Fantastic, bit difficult for high handicap though, would recommend a buggy, bit hilly and bit of a beast in places..definitely going back next summer as the front 9 greens were sanded. Found it tough overall but can't wait to go back.
