Rockmount Golf Club

Most of the parkland courses in this country when you play a wedge at 100 odd yards out, and being a below average golfer - the ball just zips off the green but not here.

The greens were very receptive indeed the best ive seen in a while.

The courses looks beautiful too. Food was excellent in the clubhouse. Had i the time i would eye this uo for membership.

Definitely be back.

Second time playing this course , first being about 4 years ago and it is in even better condition now and has matured into a good challenge. Great range of holes and loed the par 3's especially. Have to say it is one of my favourites and it wont be that long until next visit. Eat out to help out deal meant restaurant was booked out so had to settle for a chippie afterwards but otherwise everything as should be when playing golf.

Just had a very enjoyable (though personally lacklustre!) round today and I'll have to say it's the nicest course I've played in Northern Ireland and I've played quite a few. I know the weather helped today but the course is set up beautifully. So well designed (the 14th made me think of Augusta) and the attention to detail is superb, the golfer is made to feel at home, even with the option of phoning in for some food from the tee and collecting it after a couple of holes, which is a nice touch. I have been to the restaurant before several times with family and it has always been first class.

Seems this course is respected by players and staff alike. The greens are like snooker tables and the holes are beautifully and fairly laid out. I didn't see much litter either, which is a nice change.

Didn't know what to expect but have to say for the weather we have had the course was in great condition, greens had a good pace to them, staff very friendly, course layout was good as well, I will return.

Unbelievable course in brilliant conditions for this time of year, will def be back to play it again, a true hidden gem in the countryside,

Considering all the rain over the last couple of weeks the fairways were still firm reasonably firm under foot.

Some of the greens look like they had recently been spiked but they still ran as true as the rest, which were perfectly maintained.

The bunkers had also been raked and had a good amount of sand in them and as mentioned above considering the amount of rain lately the ground staff deserve a lot of credit for presenting the course so well.

I do have to mention that the bank on the 14th hole was very muddy, but if I hadn't have hit a bad drive I wouldn't have noticed.

What a gem..... All I can say this puts most golf courses tk shame..... Its brilliant... Cant wait to go back

The course was in great condition for winter time. All greens were open for play. Very enjoyable game.

There are some very good and very pricey courses in the area but Rock Mount offers a great alternative.

The course is superb with short but thick rough and nice even paced greens.

A real gem of a course with some lovely holes well worth the effort.

Recommended and I'd definitely play again

One of the nicest club houses I’ve been in and great menu.

We had a brilliant day at this course. Fairways and greens were rock hard because of the weather but it was in great condition.
