Too wet
The course should not have been open ,, it was too wet, a good drive meant a lost ball as it plugged ,and could not be found.
9 holes
Great session, not busy at the time. Able to get lots of practice in, playing 2 balls at each hole. The greens are truly unbelievably good; considering the weather we have experienced. The ground staff should be commended under these circumstances.
Nothing more than a pitch and putt
Good little course but there's no way you could call this a golf course. It's nothing more than a pitch and putt.
Good Value
Decent course, well maintained, only par 3's though
Does what it says on the tin
Is what it is , par 3 course so small and suitable for all skill levels which has its advantages and disadvantages as there are always beginners on the course which slows the play at times but all in all well looked after for a small course and cheap as chips
Will not return
Unplayable course. Needed a 4x4 SUV to get down the swampy fairways. Also, the photograph shown is not Ballyearl
Beginners course
Hot deal was £7 per person. But just for 9 holes. Better courses can be played for 10 or 11 pounds for 18 holes (e.g. Bentra or Mallusk)
Pace of play was slow and group in front may have been first time golfers. That’s no problem as that should be expected on a par 3 course.
Course was very muddy in places. Grass on greens was quite long. A little extra attention would improve this course greatly.
Decent value for money and good for beginners but an improving golfer should explore other courses.
Value for money, staff were really kind and friendly,
A few challenges around the pandemic ie no trolleys .
And seemed to be alot of 2balls out around the same time which on a smaller course is frustrating as the two behind me where alot faster than the ones in front but , still a very enjoyable day and i am sure i will be back.
Lovely course
Visiting from England, this was the first time my son and I had played this course.
We found it ideal for our level of play (novice), nice wide fairways, some challenging bunkers and well kept greens.
At such a good price, I would definitely recommend
