Ballyclare Golf Club

I have played this course a few times, and have no problem recommending it to any golfer. The green were perfect, as was the rest of the course . Congratulations to the green staff.

tree lined fairways, well placed sand bunkers and well placed use of natural water hazards – the river runs through the course and there are water hazards between the third and seventh fairways.

Course still a bit sandy but will improve over the coming weeks. The greens were in very good condition for this time of the year, all in all I really enjoyed my round of golf at Ballyclare and I will certainly be back

Very good course the professional Colin was brilliant very friendly helping us out .the golf course was very good condition for this time of year would definitely play again would recommend playing to other people

Played off a lot of Matt tees which I am not used to playing out of South Africa. This was the only negative other than the course being very wet which is understandable.

The layout is very varied and enjoyable. Speed of play was great.

I will be back.

Top quality course at a great price. Was made very welcome by the staff. Tough enough test for a mid handicapper, I’ll definitely call back again

Course condition was fair considering the amount of rain overnight. Could do with a lot of drainage work being carried out.

A great course from start to finish. with a great practice area to start. then from the first tee you are met with the mature tree lined fairways and beautiful countryside, some elevated tees and undulating fairways give you plenty of moments where you just think wow. Lots of water hazards around the course with the river flowing throughout the course and a few bunkers dotted around make this long course a great day out and it doesn’t stop there! The 19th hole, bar and restaurant where the food and service is fantastic and fairly priced. Lucky to have this all on my doorstep

Good course to play in the summer. Greens and fairways were in great condition. The box of fruit on the first tee was a nice touch.

Early morning tee off with little people on the course. Course was in excellent condition. First 9 holes were of varying design and layout with some nice holes. Back 9 a little plainer. Decent course to play if haven’t already, was first time playing

Great course. Easy on the legs and some challenging holes along the way. Plenty of wee streams and ponds. all round very tranquil experience and will defo be back.

Unbelievable there was an 8 ball ahead of us. Need I say more Didn’t let us play through only 2 of us. Didn’t think this was allowed. Walked off after 3 holes. £50 wasted

My friend and I played ballyclare for the first time yesterday. Very impressed. The course was in fantastic shape. Some really stunning holes, example the 11th par 3. Greens, tee boxes and fairways in great condition. Plus we got the B4 9am green fee of £25. Excellent value.

Course in fantastic shape. Greens fast 👌 food afterwards in the bar was outstanding. Highly recommend.
