Great condition
The course is in excellent condition for the time of year (mid October) with hard fairways and perfect greens.
Only minor issue was the huge amount of leaves littering the course including fairways, making it very difficult to find your ball. That's natural for the time of year and can't really be complained about, but some other courses do put effort in to removing them.
Usual this time of year
I have played this course various times over the years in various conditions Nd always found that the fairways were thinly grassed with bare patches, it hasn't changed and with the damp ground was very muddy in places. The greens are good and t boxes reasonably good.
Enjoy Hilton
Amenities not given a Rating as we prebooked and went straight to and from the Starter's Hut to the carpark. However from previous visits they are very good.
Staff at Starters Hut were very friendly and helpful. The Course was very enjoyable and well prepared. Pace of play was also very enjoyable as it wasn't very busy around our 1.30 tee time.
The golf course
The condition of the course was excellent, fantastic shape
Poor pathways
Pathways very wet and mucky some small stones and quarry dust would help.
Test of the course was excellent.
Lovely parkland course
First time we'd played this course after being warned off it three years ago because they'd lost their greens. Well, the greens are just fine now, they were sanded when we played but that's just maintenance for this time of year so mustn't grumble about that. All in all a very enjoyable golf course.

Great track, very challenging, must hit fairways.
Unfortunately played after and durning heavy period of rain. Course still very much playable.
Great green layouts.
Hole lay out can be confusing, not signed well but map on scorecard so not hard to work out.
Would love to play course with hard fairways and greens in the summer. Differently recommend.
