Course is great but greens are terrible dead and burnt spots everywhere pin locations would be un putt able on good greens so disappointed for 150$ a person wont be back don't waist ur money

Such a beautiful course. A gift to a golfer regardless of their skill. It’s tough at times and beautiful for 18 holes. So good!!

One of the best courses in Placer County. Always a treat, unfortunately I woke up with a bad back, couldn’t get it loose on the range but was going to hang in there and see if I could make it. On the 7th hole I slipped getting out, wedged my foot somehow in between the cart, curb and went down hard!! Thankfully I didn’t break an ankle or leg. The slam finished my day. Major pain, sharp deep burning and muscle spasms… I went into to the pro shop after to purchase a hat. They asked how it was I explained my situation only go to play 7 ish holes and they said sorry to hear that. Nothing about a rain check for nine, little disappointed with the customer service , seems to me they might offend something? Anyway $150 forn7 holes is a little steep, really bad news my buddy who I paid for as well had to stop. Also didn’t know there were six holes cart paths only, my buddy has one leg and a prosthetic.

The greens were pretty much perfect and very fast it was a beautiful round with lots of beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend that you book a round after 2 since it’s only $52 dollars a person which is an awesome deal for one of the best courses I’ve ever played, and I’ve played St. Andrews.

This is a tough review to write since this course should be an easy 5 star rating but it doesn’t seem like the management can pull it all together. Maybe it’s a financial issue or something not obvious to an outsider but they just can’t get the course conditions under control. Some holes are perfect and others you’re playing off hard pan dirt or standing water right in the middle of the fairway. Some greens have portions where there’s just no grass; it’s just dirt. Granted I’ve only played here twice, once in the summer a few days ago and previously about 18 months ago at the end of winter, but it was the same both times and based on other reviews, it’s a similar story. The course has a great layout and some fun holes but it’s overpriced.

Beautiful course and location. Tough layout. Only issues were some of the greens were not in great shape. Some areas around the greens were pretty patchy and a couple of the greens were in rough shape. In my opinion it’s not worth full price, but at less than $100, it’s good. If it’s in tip top shape, it’s worth $125 or so. But not right now.

Still the best course layout in Sac Valley. Unfortunately course finances and management cannot keep the course up to what it should be. They would be wise to lower cost and increase rounds of play. Drinks on course but grill doesn’t have fresh food at turn

There is no Marshall to keep pace of play which leads to slow play. Practice range good but putting green horrible

As much as I love the course and the layout, many of the greens were in terrible shape. We enjoyed the round, but it was not up to the standard that I played on that course in previous years.
