About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Good golf course. Fun. Very large fairways some of the largest I’ve ever scene Nice golf course
Good course friendly staff
Arrived early and was promptly greeted and put out at anearlier time, very friendly pro shop, starter and ranger. Enjoyable course will be back for a second attempt!
Winter Golf
Course was in great shape, greens a little bumpy due to ball marks not repaired.
One of the best
I think this is probably the best course in this area at this price range.
Fast Greens
Really enjoyed the round despite the cold and wind. Course is in great condition with super fast greens. That took some getting used to. Love the layout of the course.
Totally worth it..
There are three Things I love about this course. #1. Is the course it self. Forgiving fairways, and some of the best greens in town on a regular basis. #2. The staff. Super friendly and accommodating, Both the indoor and out side staff.. #3. The club house. I love it when a club house is open for all guest. I like to play in the afternoon, up to sun set. Most courses close asap. But at Eagle landing,there there till late. I like that a lot... Plus the rates are some of the best in town.
Eagle is always awesome
Played here many time and it is still consistently the best course in Jax to play overall. Fun course, great value and always in good shape.

Beyond beautiful
I live about 20 minutes away from Eagle Landing. Whoever is overseeing the course management and operations is do the best I’ve ever seen. This course is in the best condition ever. From the tee box to the green. I highly recommend it to everyone.
