The Links at Greenfield Plantation

First of all the course is insanely tight. Water on almost every hole. Greens are pretty rough. Me and my buddy made a tee time for 230. It is currently 4:00 and we have only played 4 holes, no joke. There are tee times every 8 minutes! EIGHT MINUTES. There are people littered all over the course. We were sitting on 4 tee, there was a group of 4 on the women’s tee in front of us, there was a foursome on the fairway, a foursome on the green and a foursome on 5th tee. This place is ridiculous, they do not care if you finish your round, they just try to get as many people on the course as possible. If you want to finish a round, start your round at 7, where the fee is $60. I would give this place a zero star but that’s not an option. Thanks for listening to my rant, do not play this cou

The course was okay but unless you like slow fuzzy greens I would pass it by.

We love Greenfield Plantation. Great value. Course is in excellent condition and the staff do a great job.

The greens were very nice, nice roll out a little fast. Fairways were nice. Nicely kept up.

Slowest round of golf ever. They would not allow us to check in until 10 minutes before our tee time and only once all four golfers were present although we had prepaid. No ice and water for golfers unless you went to restaurant and they were not friendly about it. They will not allow you to bring your own bottle of water as they want you to buy bottled water from them. We arrived early and they would not give us a cart until right before they sent us out. They then rushed us out to the tee box. Most holes had three to four groups on the hole. No rangers to move people along. 2:45 minutes for 9 holes. When we made the turn we were told we had to have the carts back by 6:00. Could only play 4 holes on the back nine due to time restriction. Our cart had GPS that did not work properly. The other twosome in our group had no GPS. VERY unorganized. Course was not cut, greens in poor condition. Will not return.

This course is very playable. Unfortunately they pack the tee times too tight. It will be atleast a 4.4 to 5 hour round. If you can get through the pace of play you will enjoy this track. A lot of water and u must shape shots. The bunkers are crap. Best advice is stay out of them. Three stars. With some attention could be a four.

When we arrived they had a different tee time then our confirmed tee time. We then had to wait because they did not have any carts available. There were 3 twosomes and they paired up the two with the latest tee times to go first before the earlier time? After the 5th hole our cart died and not having our cell phone we walked the remaining holes. When I mentioned it at the club house they thanked me for telling them the cart was stuck by the 5th green but never discussed a discount or any remedy. Didn't really care but found it very off putting that they would not try to make the situation right. Fairways and fringe areas needed mowing. Lots of ball marks on the greens. General lack of care.
