Great fairways
The fairways are the best kept of many courses in the area. The course is challenging and fun. Bring extra balls because there is a lot of water around the course.
A good experience
The course was in good condition, the pace of play was good considering the number of players. Overall, a good experience.
A nice layout that is always crowded
The course has been recently seeded, tee to green there was decent turf. The tee grounds had grass but it was tough to find a level spot anywhere on many tees. Tee grounds should not have either uphill or downhill lies. The greens were a bit shabby (not closely mowed perhaps due to seeding?). The pace of play was painful for our threesome as we waited on nearly every shot and every hole. Greenfield gets a great deal of play and you should expect slow play unless you are a slow player yourself. The course is pretty and the layout is nice and for this time of year their prices were fair.
Great course, great shape
Fun course. This is a great placement course and was ib great shape.
Ranger not helpful
The course was in very good shape.Greens a little slow but tee boxes and fairways were very good.the foursome in front of us was 2 holes behind as 2 of their members were new to playing.they con†inually dropped 2 - 3 balls per hole.the ranger was worthless.Kept on asking us our names †o check off his list. we asked him †o get the group in front of us to move along he didn't .We managed to go around them on hole 7 after spending 2 1/2 hours to play 6 holes .AWFUL.THOSE PEOPLE HAD NO SENSE OF ETIQUETTE.
Needs a good grass cutting session.
Played a four-ball and the staff were all very good and friendly. Pace of play was excellent even though the course was very busy. The lay out is good and fairways, green and tees had a good coverage of grasses. The only problem was that everywhere could have done with a good mowing, some of the tees had grass 4 inch deep. The fairways were good but again need a bit of mowing as did the greens which were in very good shape just a bit slow. Will go and play there again hoping that they get the mowers out before we play. If everything was cut properly would definitely give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. Good value and well worth a visit.
Nice course
Staff is very friendly. Pace of play is not bad. Course is actually quite nice with no two holes alike. Considering the nasty weather they’ve had, kudos to the team for what they’ve done!!
Greenfield
In spite of recent aeration the greens were very puttable.
Beautiful day and course was crowded, but play was not terribly slow. Not an overly difficult course, but always enjoyable to play Greenfield.
First time, was nice layout but greens were way over sanded. Call ahead
Pace
The pace was very slow today and I’m not sure if it was because doubles were teamed up together. I think the double we teamed up with us seemed to slow us up
