Finally, opportunity knocks
Having driven past this course numerous times, I always wanted to play it but it never worked out for me. After finally being able to play here, it was definitely worth the wait. The course was a fun layout and extremely playable, even for a first time player here. Pace of play was good (4 hour round) and would have been better if we had played better. Course condition was good considering the dry weather we've been having, with a few greens that were a little spotty but still very puttable. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Greens just aerated, Still great place.
Great place to play, greens just punched, so give yourself some putts. A little wet in some spots but very playable. No cart path only either. All in all, worth the drive.
Waterworld
Every single fairway and hole surrounded by water. Narrow fairways.
But, course is nice, lots of wildlife and pro shop staff friendly.
Bring lots of ammo ( balls)! I
Great venue/ Better Staff
Outstanding condition. Service was spot on. Frank went above and beyond. What a treat. Shot 73. Thank You for maintaining an operation that is run consistent with P.G.A. Standards.
Good Times
I have played out here a few times and it is a nice course with some challenging holes and some easy holes. The greens were pretty good considering how hot it has been, tee boxes great and fairways were great too with all the rain we have received. The bunkers were at times wet with puddles or looked like they didn't get any attention for a few days but that isn't going to change my mind how I view this course. I hate sand traps. Good value for the money and not looking forward for them to jack up the rates when the snowbirds get back to this area.
Good Course
This is a wide-open course that is challenging. Be prepared for some fun.
Golf
Always like this course fairways were very good shape Greens a little beat but average for the summer played early morning they would damp running a little slow but still in good shape they were doing a lot of work keeping this course up to par lots of fun would suggest it to anybody to play of any degree of efficiency. My partner and I teamed up with a married couple played class in 3 and 1/2 hours starting at 7:00 in the morning
Good value
Greens need work…lots of dead patches of grass…seems to be common this time of year. Fees and fairways are very good except a few spots of poor drainage. Staff was very friendly. For the value of the price I would play again.
Feel like I’m in a Seinfeld episode
This course knows how to take reservations, however they aren’t open when the tee time comes.
So I can’t really rate the play as my tee time was for 7:00AM and it’s 7:25 with ZERO staff on the premise.
Nothing on the website or FB indicating the course is closed.
So, how do I get a refund?
Great Layout
Love the layout of this course. It’s challenging but friendly at the same time. Kudos to the course maintenance team, this place consistently has the best maintained greens in the area for a public course. Great value and not much of the course comes into play with the residences.
This course is one of the best in town. For the money it’s 100% the best. Get in now before they start charging more.
Greenfield Plantation
Good course, great value for the price. Course layout was very good. Sub tropical look and feel but there were so many new construction developments adjacent to the course that traffic noise is a constant issue. Clubhouse and cart persons do no t take cash. Staff was super friendly and helpful loading carts and giving directions. But there were no Rangers/Marshall's to monitor and alleviate slow play. We were stuck behind a foursome that was not very considerate of thier poor play affecting everyone behind them. There was no one in front of them and should have waved us through. A course Marshall could have corrected this..Pace of play was 18 hikes a bit over 4.5 hours.
Don’t have to worry about us jacking up rates. We are always priced at or below the municipal golf courses in season. We will continue to try to offer a near private club experience at low rates, while providing the friendliest staff in the business. Tony
