The golf course at Deer Run Country Club, which was redesigned by Ron Garl in 2003, utilizes its natural terrain of sparkling lakes and towering trees to create a picturesque and challenging layout. The golf course is also known for the immaculate conditions of its greens and fairways, which provide excellent putting surfaces. Deer Run Country Club features strategically placed sand traps, numerous doglegs, and water comes into play on several holes. The golf course, while challenging, is appealing to casual golfers and beginners for the beautiful setting and enjoyable, relaxing game. Deer Run Country Club is a local favorite both for the interesting layout and affordable rates.

Really nice. Excellent value.
You just can't beat the value that you will get from playing this course. From tee to green, everything was in great shape, and the staff was very pleasant too. Very forgiving fairways. Highly recommended!
csmith011,
Thanks so much for the great review, glad to hear you enjoyed the course! Come back and see us again soon!
One of the best places to play golf in the area
It's not a very challenging course but it will keep you on your toes. Fairways are in great condition and greens have come a long way . Sand traps are not where you wanna end up but if you do they are fun to come out of. I recommend this course if you are in the area it's worth every penny!!

Very nice for the price.
We were very impressed with the course. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in good condition. The rough has other grasses and weeds growing but then we should not have been in the rough. The bunkers were consistent and had plenty of sand. Water, sand, trees and OB are easily seen and not hidden behind blind shots. The layout is nice and challenging for most amateur golfers. The personnel were very professional, accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely play this course again.

Ergio
Nice course. I can't play de tee Off at the par 3's, because they are closed. The fairways and greens are in good condition to play. Nice pace. I enjoyed.

Great value golf course
I like this course, it had a nice variety of holes, and quite a few challenging holes. The greens are spotty in places but roll well.
I would play again.

Not bad.
For the money it was worth it. Greens had a couple dead spots and tee boxes were very sandy on par 3'a. Overall 4/5.
Good alternative in the Oviedo area.
The course is pretty well managed and maintained and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend it.

Much improved!
Haven't played Deer Run in awhile and was happy to see conditions improving. There were a few spotty tee boxes, fairways and greens but overall, course was in great shape!

The course was in better shape than the last time I played
Your booking fees are ridiculous, we paid an extra $4.00 per person on top of the green fees and cart.
Good for the cost
Nice course and great for the price. Tee boxes could use some work but fairways and rough are in good shape. Greens are fast and patchy in some places but for 10 bucks a round you can't beat it.

Great local course
Course is normally in good condition from greens to rough. Very Florida like with wildlife and views across the course. Staff is friendly and clubhouse restaurant has great sandwiches for very reasonable pricing. Great course.

Course in poor condition
the course was in poor condition, would not recommend it. played with some nice club members
Course is in very good shape.
Well kept. Fairways & greens good. Good value for a good course.
Good value/friendly staff but so-so condition
I really like the employees there. Most seem to appreciate where they are/what they do. The food is prety good but you will not find a cart beverage person. The actual course is layed out pretty well but it's still fairly easy to loose a ball even just off the fairway. The greens are poor right now but this time of year lends to that at all but the better courses. Overall a good value but if you want good or better golf look elsewhere.
Greens in very poor condition
Greens need serious work. Very weedy & bumpy with bare spots. Fairways were decent. Staff is very nice and helpful.
