The golf course at Deer Run Country Club, which was redesigned by Ron Garl in 2003, utilizes its natural terrain of sparkling lakes and towering trees to create a picturesque and challenging layout. The golf course is also known for the immaculate conditions of its greens and fairways, which provide excellent putting surfaces. Deer Run Country Club features strategically placed sand traps, numerous doglegs, and water comes into play on several holes. The golf course, while challenging, is appealing to casual golfers and beginners for the beautiful setting and enjoyable, relaxing game. Deer Run Country Club is a local favorite both for the interesting layout and affordable rates.

Good course for the money
Course is in good condition. Some of the greens and tee boxes are a little rough and could use some work. Greens were very slow. Good course if you are looking to get some golf in for a great price.

Had not played this course in about 2 years. Found it much improved, with both fairways and greens bordering on excellent conditions. Will play again for sure!
Tough track if you've never played, many hidden hazards
Great track with lush greens and challenging layout. If you have never played here then play it SAFE. The course plays shorter then what is indicated because you can cut doglegs like nobodies business. There are hidden creeks, water comes into play, and the layout can trick anyone.
Second shots are essential and placement is important. A good track with good bunkers, solid rough and forgiving fairways on most holes regards to layout.

Excellent for mediocre at heart
Lots of variety with fairways & greens in excellent condition. Bunkers were wet following a torrential rain however they drained well

Played early in the morning i was the first golfer out, course was in good shape , greens firm and fast, fairway ok, rough was sparse( im from oregon and grass is one of the things we do) staff was quite nice including the maintenance guys
Best deal in Central Florida
Everything in pretty good shape, considering the price! This should be the first stop for all budget golfers in the area. Course features a lot of dog legs, not much elevation changes. Some water and bunkers.
I was paired with beginners for the front 9 and took on the back by myself. Finished the track in 3.25 hours. Can't find a single complaint, considering the price.
Slow play, but fun course, great lunch deal
This course was extremely busy the day we played. We waited on every tee, every shot. The round was just over 5 hours. We booked the 18 holes with lunch and a beer. For the price, it was a great deal, the sandwiches were great. Course is in pretty good shape considering how many rounds it gets. However, it is tight, tree and house lined, and has tee boxes almost on top of some greens. Not a course for beginners, high handicappers, or anyone currently spraying the golf ball.

Three of us played and found the course challanging. My friend George remarked it was very nice. Chris and I play this course once a month first time for George.
This course is senior friendly
Our foursome played 18 holes and had lunch. We enjoyed the round and the lunch was good. We are returning next week.

Great course
This course was great., well manicured and challenging. The fairways were mainly wide open but of course there were some exceptions to the rule. It was crowded but the pace was fast. Will play there again and recommend it.
Super greens
The greens were easy to read and true.The fairways were well maintained but would have been nice to have the fringes around traps at green over seeded . Overall great value for money.
