Open fairways, greens running 10-11 and smooth. Many lakes but not all lakes a problem. Make sure you have a way to measure a few water carrys.

Good course and well maintained. Tee boxes fairways and greens were in good overall shape. Only thing is no gps on carts but they do have usb charging port. Staff is very friendly and professional. Grass range a plus. My only complaint was the 2 groups in front of us were all friends. A foursome and threesome. And somehow in the back nine they decided to play together as 7. While they played fast we had to wait on a few holes. There are no rangers out on the course to make sure pace of play is in order We still got the round in in 4:10hrs but no course should allow that to take place.

For me but I really enjoyed it. I think if you live in South Florida and play it a few times you get the lay of the land it was the first time I played there so it was harder. The greens are fast. I would play it again.

Course was 12 miles from my place and I got a deal for $40 with cart. The website makes it look spectacular, but in reality, it’s a little worn. The range was irons only and $10 for 35 balls which is expensive.

The house is nice, interesting layout. I played blue tees and it brought water into play. Overall really nice course.

The biggest issue is pace of play. People need to play ready golf. 3 1/2 to 4 hours max, not 5-6.

I love this course.

This course lulls you in the beginning with wide tree lined fairways and then gets gnarly with a long par 5 5th that has a small crowned peninsula green.

Lots of water all over the course with some well protected greens.

Layout was very enjoyable and I will make sure to try and play it better next time.

The first few holes at Eagle Trace are very bland and vanilla. After the 3rd hole, the course design gets much better. It has some very picturesque holes. The greens were truly outstanding. Smooth, with some speed to them. The greens were firm and you hardly ever had to fix a ball mark. With the greens being so good, on the other hand, the tees and fairways are nothing to get excited about. Just average at best. The sand bunkers I was in had nice white sand.

The course is a former PGA Tour stop and has an impressive clubhouse which is outdated inside. The course has plenty of staff and they seemed to be very organized.

This course has burrowing owls that nest in the lip of some bunkers. We only saw owls in the 15th green bunker. This time, two owls were outside the nest.

I’m not an expert on Florida golf green fees. We paid $86 for a 2:00pm tee time on a Tuesday.

Love this course,tests your ability each time I played it.

Went on Golfnow and signed up with a twosome at 7AM.

The starter sent me to the 2st tee to join them. They wanted nothing to do with me. They said they were members and play as a twosome everyday. Next group on the 1st tee was a fivesome. Followed them as a single for a few holes and gave up.

The pro in the shop was so nice and apologized for my experience. He said to call him again when I wanted to play. Very nice of him which made a lousy situation a fairly nice ending.
