Eagle Trace Country Club

Layout is strong enough to host the Honda in the past. Conditiion has gone down to medium but an affordable option for a greens fees golf course in this area of Florida. Hope they have a good capital improvement plan.

Have spent a lot of vacation time in ft lauderdale area but never played here must have been private because that’s what it looks like. It’s a big course large fairways and greens. Very nice layout huge true greens. Very cool coming up 18 with the old seating built into side hill felt like we were playing a Pga course m. Can’t wait to play again

Unless your group is familiar with the course, don’t play here in the morning. We had a rollercoaster of an experience from waiting 20 minutes for 3 groups being on one hole (#5) to being yelled at by a senior on hole 11 because of pace was too slow. We finished the round in 4 hr 20 minutes and were heckled by a group of older gentleman who did not finish each hole, gave each other 10 ft gimmies (exaggerated) and were conceding holes. For a group of out of town players, this was a terrible experience besides the course conditions.

Thick rough makes this course a beast for me. Even the fairways are fluffy, which some people don’t like. But I love it cause it’s different than most south Florida courses. Great layout and some awesome holes. Definitely worth playing.

Nice course in decent shape. Pretty wide.open fairways. Played blue tees with 2 younger guys, would play the next tee up if .get.back to Florlida. Fair price for early afternoon.

One time home of the Honda classic. And at one point in time it was a TPC course. It’s definitely improved over the past few years. It appears they’re putting a little more money into the course maintenance. Really have some challenging holes without being over the top. Houses are on most halls but not hugging you too much.

Driving range balls were beat up and could use replacing. Had an amazing Quesadilla post round but unfortunately most of the draft beer was out of stock.

Anyhow back to the course. It’s got generous fairways, the greens all have settle slopes to them and are a good challenge. I come back here every year because the course is an excellent golf track Without being overly difficult.

Booked at tee time online. Showed up 5 min. Before tee time and they let the group I was supposed to play with go early.

Starter, (very rude) told me he’d get me on in 30 minutes. Waited an hour and he said he couldn’t get me on. Wasted day. Staff was unhelpful and seems to cater to regulars/members.

No refund, only gave me GN #. Really disrespectful and disappointing experience. Too many other good courses to play with staff that is helpful. The is even spent $10 on a bucket of balls on a less than average range.

Course and layout was challenging . Pace of play was good and all staff were friendly

Hey, it seems the Florida courses are either in good condition…or they are not. Eagle Trace certainly fits the first category!

Everything was nice no complaints no complaints definitely look to getting back out there again.

Great greens. Slow moving. On my list to play often

What a Nice course we had a lot of pleasure. We will be back. Do not hesitate to Go. Very challenging and in a pretty good shape.
