Wonderful day

Course was in very good shape for late December after days of cold and rain here.

Staff was friendly and starter got us out earlier with a very nice member to play with. Greens were the fastest I have seen in Florida and like concrete to hit into, holding greens with long irons was tough.

Fairways were hard and cut short and rough was not as high as in the past but still not easy bro get out of.

Pace for a Wednesday was a bit slow with a bunch of foursomes in front of us so we did have to wait at times. Not a course for beginners or sprayers that’s for sure. Would play it again for challenge!

Tournament Golf

This great course is in excellent condition with well conditioned fairways and greens. There are gentle undulating fairways which are very playable and generous in width. A pleasure to play from any tee. Classic clubhouse and pro shop at a first tier level.

Course plays particularly long, played white tees and due to wind and lack of roll played more like 6500 yrds vs. 6150 on card. good green and chsllenging spprosches. very much enjoyed a beautiful and challenging layout.

Reminded me more of a Northeast course than a South Florida course. Wide fairways that allowed for some scoring opportunities. Only complaint - no water coolers and no cart girl for 18 holes on a Sunday afternoon in November!?!

Great Course

Great challenging course in good shape with a different look on each hole unlike most Florida courses. The only complaint is that you have to lug your bag up and down a hill to cart barn and then back up a hill to pay. If they figure out how to make that a better experience the course would always get five stars.

I booked Eagle Trace through Golf Now; the course where they held the Honda Classic. The staff were extremely friendly, and gave me suggestions to navigate the course. I was paired with a couple of great guys, and truly enjoyed the round. Tough? Absolutely! But very fair.
