Eagle Trace Country Club

Avoid this goat track at all costs! I booked a 4some for 2:14pm on 02/14/22. We showed up 20 minutes ahead of time. They did not have carts ready for us, so ended up teeing off 25 minutes later. The course was in terrible shape considering the price - tee boxes and fairways were mediocre, rough was a joke, and the greens were long, slow, and full of pitch marks.

We saw the beverage cart on hole 4 - i ordered 2 drinks which were poured incorrectly, instead of apologizing or offering to fix this error, the lady proceeded to present me with the bill and even asked if I wanted to leave a tip - awkward...

The pace of play was so slow, that 2 out of the 4 ahead of us gave up on hole 5. By the time we got to hole 7 which was a par 3, there were 4 groups waiting. 1 on the green, and three 4somes on the tee box. You can't make this up. Absolutely no course management. We paid for 18, but left after 8 holes.

Course looks underinvested. Very good layout, nice greens complexes but a bit slow, understandable for a Tues. Bunkers in good shape. Fairways about 6/10. Clubhouse in zombie mode; locker rooms look ok (nice lockers), showers were closed, so was bar.

Very slow play and no ranger to speed it along. Had to wait on EVERY shot for the foursome in front of us who had nobody in front of them tee to green. Could not get into a rhythm or pace of play.

Stopped coming here when conditions went south after dropping TPC status.

Found out on arrival they had closed for the summer to redo the greens. It had been raining hard in the morning, but the greens were firm and dry (great work done)

Slow but I can tell there is great potential in the future.

I’m hopeful that the course will keep up and improve on maintenance and if so, this course will be back in my regular play book….if I can find a better deal. 105 was STEEP but still my favorite layout in South Florida.

Nice course. Great conditions. But a little too expensive for me.

Probably gets too much play to be kept as manicured as it would like be .still a nice place to play .

I like the layout of the course with the challenge of the water and sand. It’s a little expensive but it was a great day

Course is really showing it’s age. Staff were unpleasant and grumpy. I played here three years ago and couldn’t wait to come back. Now I’m regretfully having to write a bad review to forewarn others not to waste their money.

This was by far the slowest round of golf I have ever played - 6hr30

Minutes. There was no Marshall’s to manager there pace of play, this was discovered when I called the clubhouse for the 5th time to get someone out to speed things up. I would strongly suggest that nobody attempt to play golf at this facility, it’s slow, lacks rhythm, and was a waste of 115$. It feels like we were robbed.

First time playing Eagle Trace and was really impressed.

Compared to the other courses we played, the course conditions were the best.

Fairways are not perfect, but with preferred lies where necessary, very playable.

Greens are in quite good condition, yet a touch on the slow side.

Course plays longer than the yardage indicates on many holes, so keep this in mind.

The community surrounding the golf course is really pleasing to the eye and frames

many of the holes - beautiful area.

This is course you should include in your golf itinerary.

Played as a single, paired up with good guys We had an enjoyable day. Pace of play was fine, lay out is great they just need to put some money into it. Still not a bad deal.
