Eagle Trace Country Club

Conditions were pretty good, The fairways were in good condition but many spots in the rough were thin. The greens were OK and the bunkers were really fluffy.P The pace was OK with a round that was just under 4.5 hrs on a Sat morning. Staff is always friendly and accomodating.

I always have a little difficulty on this course and it occcured to me, this last round, why While the fiarways are pretty straight forward and most tee shots are wide open, the greens are not large and many are long ovals in line with the fairways. That means if your shots, like mine, are the right distance but tend to leak a bit, you will find yourself with a greenside lie that gives very little green to work with. With water or hazards on the far side, it can be a difficult, if not intimidating, up and down.

I mean, wow. For $80, I will never come back. Absolutely horrendous course conditions. From fairways to destroyed tee boxes to hard sand bunkers to rough greens, I don’t even know how this place is staying open or has any reviews above 3 stars.

I’ve played here many times but it certainly isn’t what it once was.

Very demanding layout but the conditions are average. The greens were extremely slow and the pace of play was unacceptable. The staff was excellent.

The greens are long and extremely slow. I played about a month ago when the course reopened and experienced the same thing. I was hoping they would have fixed it as this isn’t the first review making mention to the greens but they were still the same. I love the course but will probably not play if the greens are not fixed.

Over 5 hrs to play, poor conditions on fairways ,sparse patches of grass! My wife and I were pair up with a couple and there son and were told son was not playing however after 3 holes mom decided to stop playing and give son lessons , no marshal to complain to,just a terrible day!!!

Overall good layout but a lot of weeds on fairway . Greens slow fairways with spotty weeds challenging track

A well designed golf course, which had hosted tour event back in the day. Course conditions need to be improved. Especially tees and greens. Limited services. No one attending snack shop at lunch time. With the investment, this could be a top course in the area.

Couldn’t wait to play a pro caliber course. On arrival, the course looked brown, in need of water.. Once playing, the greens were slow and needed cut. Maybe b/c they were playing a Sr.’s tourney the following day and they waited to cut the greens. Still a great price and value considering the tracks and season. Bar was short staffed, but it was a Thursday. Overall, I would play it again… challenging and fun.

Very solid track. I paid $65 on a weekend and was very satisfied. Not necessarily TPC shape, but very good. Hole layout is strong and pace of play was excellent. I'd for sure play it again. Not too tough but not to easy. They had a lot of tucked pins when I played which I liked.

Grew up playing TPC Eagle Trace as a member. Once one of the top 3 courses in all of SFLA. New ownership has destroyed a PGA Tour course and ruined a tremendous course layout, we left the club a few years ago. Awful fairways, new greens poorly done and rolling about an 8. What a shame they did to a gem of our course.
