Eagle Trace Country Club

A well designed golf course, which had hosted tour event back in the day. Course conditions need to be improved. Especially tees and greens. Limited services. No one attending snack shop at lunch time. With the investment, this could be a top course in the area.

Couldn’t wait to play a pro caliber course. On arrival, the course looked brown, in need of water.. Once playing, the greens were slow and needed cut. Maybe b/c they were playing a Sr.’s tourney the following day and they waited to cut the greens. Still a great price and value considering the tracks and season. Bar was short staffed, but it was a Thursday. Overall, I would play it again… challenging and fun.

Very solid track. I paid $65 on a weekend and was very satisfied. Not necessarily TPC shape, but very good. Hole layout is strong and pace of play was excellent. I'd for sure play it again. Not too tough but not to easy. They had a lot of tucked pins when I played which I liked.

Grew up playing TPC Eagle Trace as a member. Once one of the top 3 courses in all of SFLA. New ownership has destroyed a PGA Tour course and ruined a tremendous course layout, we left the club a few years ago. Awful fairways, new greens poorly done and rolling about an 8. What a shame they did to a gem of our course.

Was first time playing Eagle Trace and had a fun round. Not your typical Florida course because every hole was unique, even the par 3’s were challenging. 18th and 9th holes were different from entire course flat and straight into clubhouse view. There is water on a lot of holes but mostly avoidable. Greens and green side bunkers redone recently and in great shape but slow…. Will definitely be back to play again.

Play here often. Good course for good golfers. Fairways could use a bit more green stuff. But all on all good round.

Great course but don’t expect to play under 4 hours and we played on a weekday at 12.30pm tee time.

Wonderful staff, good condition and prefect layout.

We played this course two years ago and had a good experience. However, this year, the course is not in great shape. The greens are horrific. My son compare them to the greens at our park district, six hole course (which have the worst greens of all Chicago).. We will not be returning here in the near future.

I played three different courses and looked at two others over the Thanksgiving weekend. Palm Aire Oaks definitely had the nicest greens of all the courses I played or looked at. I will definitely play this course again when I’m in the area.

Good course. But didn’t like the white foam on the course. Couldn’t find my ball. But nice course.
