Eagle Trace Country Club

We were first timers. No real staff interaction (due to Covid) I’m guessing. But we enjoyed the course thoroughly.

This is the first time in awhile that I went back to my ok’d course where I was a member when it was in its heyday. I also took three other former members who had not played there for awhile. Let’s just say it’s come a long way. Much better greens, decent fairway and tee boxes and good pace of play in the middle of the winter season in Florida. Very enjoyable round of golf.

We were a twosome, between two foursomes, but they played at a fast pace and had no problem. The course was in real good condition, and greens were fast, which we liked. I live in South Miami and anytime I can get a early tee time, I will always drive the distance miles to play this nice course. Love the layout, and always have very friendly staff. Thanks again for giving us a pleasant day.

The course is in a good overall condition but lacks a character. It feels like it was squeezed into a bunch of houses and not the other way around. Because of that half of the holes have out of bounds on one side and water on another I had trouble seeing the lines, holes not designed well at all. Greens are quick but not rolling true and hard to read.

My foursome travels to South Florida each year for a week of golf. The course conditions weren't as good as others we have played in the area. Part of this is COVID-related because the sand containers were removed from the carts. Rough was a bit scruffy but the greens were OK. My foursome was required to take individual carts which indicates that the ownership takes the COVID matter seriously. The greens fees were fair and we plan on playing here again next year.

By far the best value for good golfers ~10-15 handicap and below. Challenging course. Reasonably priced. Solid conditions. Full range to warm up. And really great staff. If you play in the afternoon its usually wide open. And you can usually get in a few extra holes after the 18 if you are so inclined. By far my favorite course in the Fort Lauderdale area and thats after having tried nearly every public course in the area over the 12 months I have been living here. One of my favorite public courses for the money in the country!

Nice for a public course. Pretty good condition. Sand traps only bad part. They were like cement.

Great course and good value for money. Although they allowed a 5some to play ahead of this which slowed down pace of play.
