Nice for a public course

Course was in decent shape & we enjoyed our game. Only negative was that our cart died after hole 17 & er needed a rescue. The staff as very nice & sent out another cart. All in all a good value. I would recommend Eagle Trace.

A lot of positives

I played this course back to back days and really enjoyed it. They have a good chipping and putting area along with a driving range. The grass is a little thick on the driving range, but it gets the job done. The staff is extremely friendly. I have been to a few courses lately that require you to ride with someone even if you don’t know them and then also charge you 10 or $15 if you wanna ride by yourself. This course allows you to ride alone which is fantastic. The course is a little tough, but in a good way. The sand traps definitely need some work. Nobody likes being in the trap, but it makes it even worse since there is not much sand to hit The greens are in pretty good condition. They can get a little bumpy here and there and they are a little slow. The price after 1 o’clock is very fair. I will definitely be making this my main public course I play at from now on.

Eagle trace

Average to below average at best. Not worth $75/18 holes. Staff is friendly. The club house is not a place you feel like hanging out at, it’s very dated and dirty. The course is average at best.

Pass on this one

Very disappointing experience. No on going maintenance going on here. Fairways were a mess, had not been cut in days. Bunkers were unkept (grass plugs sticking out everywhere), hard as concrete and not raked. Women’s washroom had not been cleaned in a long time and had doubled as a storage locker.

Decent course but has seen better days

This course is a great layout with fantastic greens. But, the conditions could be significantly improved. There’s no sand in the bunkers, tee boxes could use lots of TLC, and fairways were in fair shape. Enjoyed my round but this could be a fantastic course if they took care of it a bit better.

Needs more sand in bunkers.....

Played this course more than 2 years ago, and I have to say it's nicer now.

Greens were a little slow for me. Course is fairly open and easy - a few bunkers need sand as some were hard-pan. Will definitely play again.
