The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

Great course!

This was a beautiful course! I was actually hesitant to play the course because of previous reviews. But the course was in great shape. If I had any complaint it would be the greens were fuzzy and slow, it was also rather wet around the greens but it had poured rain the day before. But that shouldn’t scare anybody away. The holes on the bay side were beautiful and challenging with the breeze. All of the staff that we met were helpful and the service was great.

Beautiful golf course

I always enjoyed playing this golf course.

My favorite holes are #7,8,9,13,14,15, and 16.

I would give this golf course a full 5 stars if I was able to use my driver at the driving range, but it's irons only because of those houses or condos nearby.

The staff were always friendly, especially Morgan who works at the Pro shop. I always feel welcome at this golf course... Highly recommended!

Day after Thanksgiving

We had fun getting out for a few hours while vacationing. Tee boxes were in pretty bad shape. Greens were fair. Course cart paths are horrible.

I have played here numerous times. The course was in very good condition. Driving range was closed. Barely noticed the overseeding of some greens. They all rolled nicely except 17 which was slightly bumpy. Perfect weather. Nice layout.

Lovely course and great views along the bayside

Despite 3” of rain the previous day the course was open and 90% of bunkers were in v. good state to play from. Some wet spots on fairways but managed well by course markers and officials. Got very windy for our back 9 which was challenging, but course was in great condition after overseeing and greens ran well and fairly quick.

Beautiful, Fair Test of Golf for All Levels.

Really nice course, interesting with variety of scenery and course layout. We really enjoyed it, and with the exception of a very few greens that were in transition, excellent shape (all greens were eminently playable). On the back nine, Brown Pelicans were hunting, diving and splashing, catching fish. They were a treat to see. I’d recommend this course for sure.
